I think now is a good time to consider making improvements.

Global has become a ghost town over the course of 2019 post 10/20 removal. Starting games is incredibly expensive relative to all other sites (ie, 5x) because of high HU/shorthanded rake.

I would be very willing to consistently start 5/10-10/20 games HU/3handed if the rake was even remotely comparable to other sites, and I know others would be as well.

There's also no spectator value. No one wants to railbird 5/10. Conversely, on WPN, people love watching the 50/100 no rathole games, and since the min/max buy-in is only $1k, a lot of people take shots at it. I think having something like that (a single higher stakes 1week no rathole game) is very appealing. Some people would probably stream on twitch and drive further casual interest towards Global.

Have some more ideas about how to improve liquidity and would be happy to chat 1-on-1 with someone from Global who is willing to listen.

What would it take for the tables to open for a MTT PRIOR to the first hand being dealt? Playing for the first time in ages, how is this still not fixed??

Also, when you get moved to another table, is there a way to get it to open to the size I have vs taking up most of the screen? Kind of irritating to play a couple games, have a few seconds to act and try to re-adjust everything all the time.

+1 advertise it with incentives to play at first and you will attract some traffic. It's the most convenient, and most mobile friendly, way to play poker, by far.

Replenish the time bank at cash tables.

About a year ago GP were offering bonus $weeps cash if you deposited. I would really like to see that bonus offered again to net depositors. I will literally pay for part of it out of my pocket if I have to.

I use my cell phone and when playing on safari / iphone some times I cant see my opponents stack totally , Its covered with cards is this normal here or can it be fixed ? Is others having this issue . On chrome / iphone or mozilla using cell phone ?

I often can't see someone's stack on chrome. I have to resize the window which is pretty annoying cause other stacks will be visible just depends on the guy's username.

Can you move up the min buy in for cash game tables to 50bb or at least 40bb?

5 times today while playing up to 6-8 tables on global It would kick me out and with the so so software when i reload it its hard scrambling with a bunch of tables. happened today and cost me $200 bucks messaged support and no response like if my site had players ready to jump over an obvious problem. I would respond quickly

^^ Notes don't get deleted, restart your computer and see if they're back.

Hmm. That seems unlikely to me since I restart my computer pretty much every day before playing, and because I'm almost positive that there have been players whose notes have disappeared one day and remained gone on subsequent days.

In the past I've seen the occasional laggy problems where, like, a note will not be there at first, but then we move to another table or something and then they're there. But this has been feeling different. I have been adding a good deal of new notes lately, as I meet new idiots doing idiot **** that I definitely need to remember, and suddenly old notes are disappearing all over the place like never before.

It's hard to test for sure because I'm not going to just restart my computer in the middle of SNGs and MTTs, but honestly capping notes just feels like something Global would do, intentionally or otherwise, so I'm not convinced. Anything to protect their precious recs.

Just venting anyway. Doubtful this thread is going to get anything done, too much noise.

Some people were having this issue a while ago iirc and they said after a computer restart the problem went away. This could be a new bug in Global software as notes are saved on their servers.
