How about fixing The SnG screen the games jump up and down the screen and that will keep players from playing a $55 game when you are thinking its a $6 game. That seems crazy well it happen to me so watch make sure its the game you select on the ORG screen.

If you filter it by buy-in it won't do that. The default is to filter it by number of players registered so it will continuously change.

Edit: within each buy-in the games will still filter by registrants, but it's at least the same buy-in

Don't know what you mean by "create" new tables. There are tables with no one sitting at them and you can be the first one to sit and start a table.

Satellites Coming Soon?? I know many players have made this request in the past and I think Global may be about to make it happen. Last night I registered for a late night MTT $750 Guarantee and saw something I never seen before. Under the MTT name was a Gold Icon. When I hover over it it says "" require ticket "Test $11 ticket"". I checked and the MTT just before it had it also. These were the only 2 that I could tell. I don't have to go into the advantages of Satellites into larger MTTs but welcome your input. I took a screenshot of it but can't seem to post it here.

I saw that too Wiz, also by the weekly leaderboard offering tickets into the main events, I think it looks almost certain that they'll be implementing tickets

Mute/Unmute buttons look to be working as expected, and also appear to be sticky. So if you mute a player they will stay muted if you run into them again at another table.

Is there a place on tournament tables to see how many players are left and how many are paid? (apologies if this has been brought up already, I haven't read through all 800+ posts)

On the main page of the tournament, there is a tab you can click called "Payouts" that shows what each place pays.

On the right on the main page for the tournament, it shows info about the tournament in progress including how many players are left.

It currently shows the blinds/antes, your position, and the next blind level. But, it would be helpful to know how many are left and how many get paid.

Anyone else get disconnected on global? I was only in one trny but got disc'd from the site.. connected fine on my other 2 sites.

I got disconnected as well. try to reconnect on 3 different machines and no luck.

Saw the test tickets last night. This will be awesome toward getting larger fields in the bigger tournaments. Now, if we can get the site back up & running?!!

Sadly nothing is on the table label itself, not even your position out of how many are left. I wish this would get fixed but as of so far it hasn't.

Since the balances don't update instantly, I always have this nagging fear that they made an accounting error.

Thinking out loud: would a FT chop option be something that appeals to rec players? I know it *really* appeals to us in local live mtts.

Or, would it just piss us off when somebody refuses to chop?

And, continuing the thought... if there were a chop option, it should include one "take it or leave it" option (like a straight ICM chop) rather than letting players negotiate. In my experience, inexperienced players ~always get totally screwed when chop negotiations take place.

I've always hated chopping MTTs, so a -1 to this. It's true that a bunch of people would like this option, but I've seen so many times in online MTTs when x players are left and everybody starts negotiating a chop, and a couple of players think they have an edge on the field so they want an extra y% and everybody gets upset and it's a huge mess.

I've never chopped. People get riled up. Dudes, I'm trying to win first all for myself ...

Edit: you mentioned that a chop could just be straight ICM only. That's a solid compromise.

What is the general feeling in terms of global's MTT structure? I like how there isn't a bunch of the typical time wasters like starting with some ridiculous amount of blinds and the first hour becomes next to pointless, but the middle levels seem to be kind of broken. Either the blind structure or level length need to be slightly altered. At one point in the H event yesterday with like 2 tables left until ITM, average stack was < 10bb due to what felt like an awkwardly large jump in blinds. I don't want a tournament to run way longer than necessary, but these weren't turbo events and there are a number of those (and variants like big ante) on the schedule... and those are going to be even more brutal. I don't necessarily think that the different levels of buyin should really determine how fast the structure is, but it's kind of a bummer to have such little playability in the middle stages of a decent sized MTT, especially when it just gets worse the further you are in and when decision making becomes a bit more serious.

If I am in the minority I apologize, I am admittedly a bit out of touch with the current trend of online MTTs, this just seems particularly awful.

I should add that I believe that they did add 1k in extra chips for the High level buyin of Event #1, so it was 4k instead of 3k starting. That addition felt pretty meaningless, but it just means the L/M events are playing even faster, which is absurd to me.

Yeah, and I worded it awkwardly. I don't mean to include several options for a chop amount.. I mean the chop should be just one "take it or leave it" option.

It could work like this:

1) final table is reached
2) a button appears on the table that says "look at chop?"
3) if all players on the table click "yes", then the mtt pauses as the straight ICM chop amounts appear on a popup, side by side with the regular payouts. There is an "accept chop" or "keep playing" set of buttons and a short timer of like 30 seconds to chop it or play it out. If any player chooses "keep playing" or does not vote, then play continues.
4) not sure if we want to offer the chop option after each elimination or not?

recs reach FTs infrequently, and many tend to like the idea of chops because it feels safer to pocket a win rather than continue to risk it.

That seems quite reasonable. I wonder how many times the chop offer should prompt up, for instance, once right at the start of the ft, and then maybe once again 5 handed, or something like this. I wouldn't think that too many 9handed chops would occur in these quick online MTTs.

I feel that doing it after every elimination would slow the game down too much.
