youre wrong. there is a massive difference between shortstacked fish and pro ratholers. they have the solution to 10-20bb play and it cannot be exploited in any way. it is effectively like having 1 of the seats filled with a bot that players near perfectly. nothing could be worse for games

1. Last Hand Replayer. Just like PokerStars. Where we can see our opponents hand that is mucked.

It's a rake-dependent solution, though, and Global's rake is really high/no rakeback. I'm not at all sure these tables are beatable shortstacking.
09-08-2017 , 11:59 PM
have you played on global? theyre beatable shortstacking. global has the ratholer period extremely long for a reason. they need to be coherent and at very least raise the min buyin to 30-40bb

add 5/10 NL ffs and please give the highest rake payers some kind of reward
09-09-2017 , 07:43 AM
the rake is way to high they need rakeback please
09-09-2017 , 07:47 AM
they need to lower the rake for short handed games like every single other site does or there is no incentive to start games

So you want something changed with the rake? You only posted 3 times in a row, could you clarify for us just once more what it is you are looking for? I feel like it might be related to rake, but I can't tell.

It's probably been mentioned here before but it's worth mentioning again: something needs to be done about all the time that's wasted at the beginning of tournaments waiting for sitting out players to time out. I just saw a particularly bad case of this, where a player's time clock ran down and then disconnected. Because of this and a couple of other timeouts, the first hand took almost four minutes just to see the flop.

However, I don't think that change should have been at the top of the priority list when there are so many more glaring issues that need a solution immediately. There have been a lot of great ideas in this thread and so I'm going to repost a list of them from the most to the least urgent:

1. Lower heads up and short handed rake to normal levels. In each session that i play every 6m table at my stakes will be completely full and there's nobody willing to start a new tables because your rake is way too high. Meanwhile, you have so many players just waiting to see a table in the lobby that has 3 or more players seated. My experience is that once 3 players are seated at a table it fills almost instantly. The money you would lose by lowering your rake for shorthanded / heads up would be negated by having many more full tables running in the lobby. ** Additionally, it would be great for you to develop a global waitlist so that players can choose to take the next available seat at whatever game type / stakes he or she wants. This would prevent people having to constantly monitor the lobby just hoping to find the 1 open seat before somebody else does. It's important that this is a global waitlist and not an individual table waitlist so that you don't have people just trying to prey on the weaker players. **

2. You need to have a 'wait for next big blind' option that is automatically selected in situations where a player has missed posting their blinds and wants to sit back in. Anybody who wants to sit back in sooner can uncheck the option. This will help the frequent disconnects be less of a problem for players. When you get sat out, it's really annoying to have to keep an eye on the dealer button to make sure you don't post before the big blind gets back to you.

3. The 'sit out next blind' option need to be changed to 'sit out next big blind'. Nobody wants to sit out on their small blind after paying the big blind, but the current option allows that to happen.

4. The bet slider is designed poorly. If you want to increase your bet by a bb you click to the right on the bet slider, no problem. But the problem is when you're tryingto size your bet smaller. You can't click to the left on the bet slider because the bar is so close to the left edge of the bet slider that there's no space in which to click. This leads to a lot of frustration when multitabling because you can't properly size your bet meanwhile you have so little time to act that sometimes you end up just having to bet some random amount before timing out. This will all be solved by enabling the ability to increase / decrease bet size by the scroll wheel on your mouse.

5. If you click fold you when you can check, you get a pop up asking you if you want to fold or check. If you then try to hit check, one of your tables will go black. Don't even have a fold button if there's no bet, or, if a player clicks fold just have them check automatically.

6. Combine $400 and $600 sweeps cash into $500 and add $1k stakes. $400 and $600 are redundant and the jump from $600 to $2k is way too big. If a player runs bad at $2k , it takes a really long time to be able to win back enough money to play $2k again. What's more, the max buy in is $3000 at $2k stakes so it plays even bigger than normal. Look at the jump of every other stakes. $4>$10>$20>$50>$100>$200>$400>$600>$2000. The jump from 400 to 600 is only 1.5x while the jump from 600 to 2000 is more like 3.5x+ when you consider the max buy in. In plo it's even worse, going from 400 > 2k. Make these stakes standard for both game formats.

7. Let players sit out for 2 orbits instead of one before being kicked. You shouldn't have to fear getting kick from you table because you have to go to the bathroom and answer the door.

8. The button is given to the wrong person for the next hand after a 3rd players sits.

9. Increase the minimum buy in to 30-40bb

10. Lobby filters by game type and stakes

11. When you click 'leave table', the table just turns black. If you reopen the table then you're still seated there and automatically sat back in. Make this button so that it actually removes the player from the table.

12. Get rid of the pop up that asks you if you want to keep playing. (If possible, I've read that it's necessary for the legals reasons so if that's the case then never mind)

13. The dealer button covers the bet amount sometimes, fix that.

14. When trying to top up at the table, after you top up the rebuy screen doesn't go away unless you hit 'cancel'. Make it work like it's supposed to.

15. If you buy into a table and hit 'cancel', you still occupy a spot at the table for several hands. Make the cancel option actually remove the player from the table immediately.

We really hope that you're still reading these suggestions and taking them into consideration. You had done a great job in the past being active in your forum but it seems like there's been a lack of activity from support in this forum for the past month.
+1: These are all great points, I might change the order around a bit but if Global Poker focuses on getting these issues cleared up I think they will get a lot of respect from the community. Agree also they are doing a great job so far. My only addition would be to get rid of Full Ring, Making less games available makes them easier to fill, similar to changing 600 and 400 into 500nl.

+1 to all of the above. I would really like to see no FR tables and also for sure would like to see 5/10 added at a minimum even if the entire structure doesn't go to 1/2>2/5>5/10>10/20.

don't get rid of full ring, many people like it.

props to the guy who wrote that big list. it would REALLY be nice to see the GP rep come in and comment on these things. every single thing on that list is legit.

Yes please make the min buy in higher. I don't see the reasoning for having it so small. I would think it kills action more than anything else. If I'm on the button and it folds to me and I see a couple of those short stack fire ants on my left, I don't even want to get involved usually.

Add .02/.04 to the freeroll mix

I really hate how the table software abbreviates

.50 to .5
.20 to .2
.90 to .9

etc.

Just called a .40 cent bet thinking it was .04 cents. Any way to turn this off? Doesn't appear to be. It's pretty dumb. This is money, I think you should be verbose.

+1 for sure on this. I have always felt this way, and since the lower stakes are where I tend to play I have bumped into it as well. I would even be fine with it doing $0.40 as well. As much info as possible is always best.

Please add a "Hide Empty Tables" check box in addition to "Hide Full Tables".

I play full but I am torn on the short stack issue. So many fish buy in short and are giant ATMs for me. I think I make more off them when they are short because they are more likely to buy in to that stake if they do not need 30-40 bb. There do not appear to be many reg short stackers yet. I play up to 100NL so can only speak to that.
