No problem! I've even contacted them with no reply so I just figured maybe the page was up but the link from the banner wasn't working and I was correct. Good luck everyone

Thanks

Looking at the line up and at the info on the top and bottom of the page the complete line up is not posted.

The page begins with ...

Quote:
Welcome to The Grizzly Games, the second installment of ‘The Global Poker Championships’
$1,500,000 in real cash prizes!
Claws out from January 15, 2018
A list of games that come no where near $ 1,500,000 is posted.

Bottom of page says ...

Quote:
¹ See 2,000 flops in ANY Ring Games between Jan 15 to Feb 11, to unlock entry to this tournament.

Stay tuned, more details to come!

Maybe this time they'll finally have SATELLITES to the higher buyin events. The fact that they dont do this is just ****ing mind blowing.

Only reason they don't have satellites that I can think of is their software doesn't allow it yet. I agree though, if they want to be a rec friendly site they have to give their recs a chance to play for what they might consider to be life changing money.

I actually saw a random satellite pop up in the lobby a couple nights ago. It was to a low buy in event, but I'm assuming they were testing it out.

My guess, and I am only guessing, is this isn't he full schedule. Otherwise why would they post 08-L,M,H events and then skip to 18-L,M,H events. My guess is they have these nailed down, and they drop it in some table in the CMS (Content Management System).

Also notice the flops freeroll is for flops between Jan. 15 and Feb. 11. Event 08, the first one listed (besides the Freeroll at the start) is Jan. 21, leaving about enough time to do events 01-07 if you started around Jan. 15 and had even 08 on Jan. 21

Agreed with everyone above too, I would love to see some Satellites into these big events in particular.

No offense taken. But why the hell would I lie about it?

I play many hours per week and never seen any pop-ups. Also there have been some weird people saying strange things in these forums the past few months. But I will take your word for it. Sattys would be cool.

I play more tourneys than anyone on the site. A satellite definitely popped up sometime last week.

I totally agree, too, sattys would really help the games out.

Update**

Just got a message from a rep on facebook and they told me they will have the schedule and announcement tomorrow 1-2-18
01-03-2018 , 02:13 AM
full schedule is up

Is there gonna be a leaderboard? Feel free to say no.

those big ante tournaments are the ****, you have to, like, at least limp 100% of hands

Solid lineup of tournaments. I could do without the big ante tournaments but not even gonna complain.

Let the grind begin...

Thanks a lot for giving away my super obvious strategy edge that anyone should be able to see and figure out if they think about poker for a second or two yet they fold BTN all the time.

I really hope they have the leader board working as well. It doesn't seem there is a top prize for winning the overall leader board like they did last time (if there is someone point it out, I may have missed something) but I still love seeing it. I think leader boards inspire more competition and of course bragging rights.

Your welcome !

Not that anyone has done so in this thread, but I have a note for people complaining about high tournament rake:

I've been strongly considering going up to Chicago in a week to play in the Heartland Poker Tour main event. I haven't played any live tournaments in like 6 years, and forgot how much of a joke the take is.

The main event is a 1440+210. On top of that, you're expected to tip the dealers if you run deep. It could effectively be around 15%. 10% suddenly seems not so bad!

I guess it makes sense because dealers and floor have to get paid. But damn, that is quite steep.

The other one I am looking at is 300+50. lol.

If anyone wants a spreadsheet that will list all the grizzly games events as well as an easy way to track your performance you can find it here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

Note the spreadsheet will automatically calculate your leaderboard points when you put in your place (although you will have to change it to 25 if you cash but don't place in the top 10). You also insert the amount you cash for and it will keep a tally of your profit and loss from each event as well as a running total.

Additionally, there is a column for average leaderboard points. Penta averaged a little more than 23 points per tournament, so it will go green if you are above a 23 average.

You guys are awesome!

thegoldenblazer, I can't get over the fact that you made a google doc for everyone, that is really cool. To confirm, yes leaderboards are back, not just one leaderboard but one major leaderboard and then four weekly ones!

I will make a sticky 'official' thread shortly and post some more stuff in there!
