Please pay particular attention to the Third Party Software part particularly point 4.

-------
THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE AND PLAYING TOOLS

Global Poker prohibits the use of the following (and similar) types of tools and services in conjunction with its games:

1. Bots or any tool or service that plays without human intervention or reduces the requirement of a human playing.

2. Any tool or service that shares hole card information with other players or services.

3. Any tool or service that manipulates hand histories to display other players dealt into the hand or the holdings of other players.

4. Any tool or service that uses a central database of player profiles, hands played or private results.

5. Any tool or service that is targeted towards the manipulation of opponents in games limiting your selection of tables to play on.

6. Any tool or service that enables real-time advice or commentary on the current game state (beyond reporting data and statistics).

7. Data mining activities such as, building a database of hand histories in which you did not participate.
-------

In short, anyone found using any of these enhancement suites will be permanently banned from the site.
Don't worry about this guys. There are players admitting to use the software and GP does nothing about it. They issue "warnings" after players clearly break the rules.

For the players who downloaded it before it was shut down it still works. I deleted it but have friends who are still able to use it.

I have a feeling, that global really doesn't care about the outside software much at all.

From a marketing point of view they HAVE TO take a STRONG stance against ANY software, that way the REC player "feels" safe. They are afraid to see that ANY software allowed is "omg they let bots and poker tracking on this site I am DONE"

Of course Global doesn't care about pros, we are a MINORITY and will be here regardless. We are business partners with Global, we start games and generate rake, but we will be there so long as Global does IT'S job which is attract fresh deposits.

Always pretending you are going to not play in soft games is an empty threat.

My hunch is I think you could run this software and a Bot and never get banned. Their resources are tied up into marketing and building the business, not putting money into protecting the "integrity of the games"
Offering poker in the USA is a money grab, not a long term business model.

It would be hard to tell the share holders in a risky grey area market "hey, we are investing in the future of our brand"

Not that this has anything to do with your post but in their terms of service being a pro is not allowed.

2.1. You hereby declare and warrant that:
2.1.3. You participate in the Games strictly in your personal, non-professional capacity for recreational and entertainment purposes only.

You could be a pro and still not violate the TOS, ducy?

The source repository is still a public repo. You can download the code and build the extension yourself. FYI it's not sending converted hand data to a remote server. It's simply saving it on the local FS

That's a different program all together. Also, they are detecting apps that spam the backend API for hand histories, so you will be banned.
