Global Poker - 2+2 Community Tourney Sweat Thread Global Poker - 2+2 Community Tourney Sweat Thread

06-25-2017 , 07:25 PM
Hey guys,

We are really noticing a strong community of 2+2ers who are frequenting this forum and playing on Global Poker which we obviously think is fantastic.

We want to help build the community feel here as much as possible so we thought it might be fun to start a tourney sweat thread.

Let us know if you are deep in a tourney so players can rail and hopefully bring you some run good!

Good luck at the tables!

Team Global Poker

Need to see more activity on Global Poker. Seems like it's been thinning a little lately. I love the site. Especially love being able to work through PayPal. Got fast payout even the first time. Just need 5 times as many players.

Agreed things seem to be going in reverse everyone i have played i have tagged and dont like playing against them because normaly i get a sick beat, as i look around alot of the cash tables are full of regs who play like 10+ tables. There are constant runner runner beats where if i were new it would bother me, but to a newbie why would you keep playing? Plus i think multi accounting is killing the site 2.00$ free was a bad idea.
Im curious if we will ever see a tourney pay out over 5k if it does it will answer a lot of question under which laws they have to abide by.
But yea im taking a break due to sitting down to the same players that no matter how strong of a hand i have seem to take my money. And if you get beat as bad as i have in omaha floping set and nut flush draw and owning 99 percent of the hand to be beat by runner runner straight or quads in a massive pot situation by these big stack regs who dont care about money but in the end get the big payout.
Cashout time at ignition is much longer but playing omaha side by side i see a huge difference in the pre-flop hands and how the boards play. Here you see almost identical flops and hands back to back to back. Also the draws hitting are incredible, global i almost always hit the gutterball 80 percent of the time ignition maybe 20percent. Still playing both back to back and 2 days left in this test of how the cards are dealt. I hope more newbies come to this site cause the regs here are on fire and i have played them enough to know to stay away.

Not sure that this comment is supposed to be in this thread, not even really sure what this comment is trying to say. With that said, your point (which by the way others have asked as well, although I don't understand its credibility or reasoning) about the $5K payout is a moot one. They have paid more than $5k tourney payouts. They run a $7.5k every week, and a $10k is on the horizon. In addition, in case you mean to a single player for 1st place (and again I really have no idea why the $5k number matters) there was a tourney back in March during their March Madness promotions that paid out well over $5k to one player.

Me too wait, crap 10th. Nice 88 button open shove splayaa. My first intinct is to fold 77 in the bb, but i had 4 bets. I didn't get money in good much in this one.

Yep with your stack and sevens I am happily putting my chips in the middle. You played well, and as always we always want to make it further, but 10th is still awesome

How did you end up doing?

got 6th or 7th, got it in with like 4bbs vs jj and kk lol RIP

Thx, u2. That AA vs AQ cooler looked pretty nice lol. If I had 10-20 bets that 77 is gross facing that shove, still should play it probably. Hopefully back in this thread within the next 6.5 days.

The AQ nearly caught me though, flush outs in the end looked promising. And I agree, 77 with an all-in in front with a larger stack gets gross, but with our stacks where we were when your cards came face up I was like, "Yep, cooler" I would have played the exact same way in that spot. No question about it. I am also glad I didn't min raise, because you jam for sure with 77 and then what do I do with 88... that is tough.

I thought there was a GO streamers thread in this sub forum but I can't find it currently. I play MTTs from the $500 challenges to the $2k gtds and I'm going to start live streaming them on YouTube in the next day or two. If anyone is interested in sweating them for entertainment subscribe to my YouTube: YesItsNate.

See you at the tables guys
