Yeah that is frustrating, and here I was thinking things were looking on the up. It doesn't appear that is the case.

I lagged like **** yesterday. I started counting the times I "disconnected" by pen and paper and it was 22 times. On 3 separate occasions at least 3+ of my 9 person tables disconnected when I didn't. I stole a total of 4 pots with min bets, and was the victim of losing when having monsters twice.

It's sad that I've gotten to notice when people disconnect (the signs of it) and now incorporate that into my "strategy." (and to those who say, zomg I can't believe you'd do that, you don't think my opponents are doing it to me? And you don't think tilting the **** out of your opponent because they lose to a disconnected min bet is super +EV?)
I am not a shill for Global, although a shill would say that. So choose to believe what you wish on that topic. And the second accusation is so outlandish, I am not even sure its worth addressing, but with that said, if I this was my first time winning, and I wanted to "protect Global" I don't believe my 2+2 postings would do a good job of keeping afloat or drowning a company.

What I am a shill for is a legal positive online experience for US players. If that is Global, great. If its not, great point the way to the next place to go.

Beyond that RikaKazak, I would appreciate you not turning to Ad hominem attacks. They are unnecessary and unhelpful. With that said, I do understand your frustration disconnecting that many times. That's insane. I am sorry about that, although, I know that doesn't fix it, but I do wish that wasn't your or anyone's experience.

I am only expressing that I haven't had the disconnect issues that everyone else seems to be having. And when I have had the disconnects, only once did it ever really impact a decision I was making on a hand I was in. And on Sunday (meaning 8/20/17), I never disconnected once, and only noticed it in one player that it looked like it was a problem for them. I wish I remember their username, maybe it was your account.

And as far as adjusting your strategy to how the game is playing on any topic, imo you would be crazy not to adjust accordingly.

I wonder if it is related to specific servers they use. I can honestly say I have not experienced lag, at least anything very noticeable. I suffer horrifically some days on other networks from it. I am in the northeast and usually play the MTTs. I played four plus hours on both Saturday and Sunday late afternoon into evening and didn't experience any. I've been using Chrome and my household WiFi.

Not going to disclose that (unsure who you are anyway), but it is not related to my name here.

Well obviously you are a shill then for the company... I kid I kid...

With that said, fun fact I play in the East as well, Virginia Beach, VA to be exact. I run with household wifi too, and get to love life on that Verizon FiOS lifestyle (sick brag I know).

But I do wonder if there is a server load issue based on where you tend to connect. And they would do that via your IP location I would think. There very well could be a more "regional" lag problem as opposed to a (pardon the pun) "global" lag problem. This could make some sense.

And again, not saying this is for sure true, but I really don't see the lag and others get hammered. It has to be something like that.

Further more I have a good upstream and downstream connection, if we could get Global in on it so no one gets banned, I would be happy to setup a VPN connection for someone to my house and see if their lag just disappears. And then let them run that way for a week or so.

Again I would want Global in on that because I want everything to be on the up and up. But anything I can do to help I am game.

I like seeing online poker for US players, and anything I can do to help in that, I am happy to do so.

I think the point being made is there must be a reason for all of the disconnects, especially when some don't experience them, and some do. There has to be a common thread. He is simply putting forth the theory it could be particular servers that are location in particular locations. When you load balance a website, you will put severs in different locations some of the times to do this.

We are simply trying to help solve the problem. With you coming from the northeast to that makes the theory less likely, but it still would be interesting to see if there are servers that some players connect to and have issues, and others don't and are fine.

With all of that said, let's not curse at each other, especially people just trying to help. No reason for it. I get this is all frustrating, but taking it out on people in forums really won't help.

Tonight was pretty bad for the disconnects for me, and another player yourgfmyrailbird was saying the same thing in another forum.

I played the SNGs this evening, only having one or two going at once. When it happened it would happen to the other players at the table as well. I have video if that is needed to help with troubleshooting.

As always I am happy to help anyway I can, but I echo everyone else here, this has got to get fixed for Global to be the place I want to tell my friends to come and play.

no, not sure why you're so keen on figuring it out though. Disconnects were bad last night for me. 4-5 times over a 3 hour window.

I asked one time, so I guess in your book that means that I'm "so keen". I just wanted to see your level of play

Maybe for you personally lol but I was on some tables with you and people were timing out in the games we were playing together I'm pretty sure. People were timing out on most all the tables. Yesterday was as bad as it's ever been for me, today was ok for me personally, had some lag but not long enough the the notifications to pop up but I was sat out of some tables. I can see where this is going to be a huge turn off for fish.

Im in so cal, on frontier (the new fios here) with ethernet cable running from desktop cpu to the frontier router.

The point is/was that it does not happen to everyone all the time or at the same time. How were you not able to comprehend such a simple concept? Are you that dense?

Hi guys,

We are seeing a drastic reduction of lags and disconnects on our end over the past 24 hours.

The comments ITT seem to reflect that.

Can you please share your experiences. Has the problem gone away for you or is it still occurring frequently?

I played 4 SNGs this evening, I didn't disconnect once. And I saw only one player at my table who looked like they were having issues. With that said, I have always been one of the fortunate ones, so this is by no means believing it is all the way fixed.

i played a bunch for 5 hrs last night 6-8 tabling, no disco's for me either or lag but I did see others disco'd
