I was only playing 2 tables, but both tables disconnected simultaneously at these periods. Using google chrome and having each table be a separate window.
Is there an easy way to get a screen shot (i.e. press 1 key)? If so, please point me in the right direction.

Hit your print screen key on your keyboard. Then from there you can paste that into MsPaint and save it off as a picture or jpg. There are other programs out there that do it as well, but for my screen shots I just use paint and print screen.

The lag is completely and unbelievably tilting and absurd. You would think with a 5% rake and no rakeback, a company could figure out a way to afford some better servers.

Reps responding to threads, but obviously won't touch this one or the rake one. Sad to say but this looks to be going down the same road as Ignition where the disconnects were crazy and the company had no idea how to fix it.

Yeah it is almost like they know the threads where no matter what answer they give people won't be happy so they don't comment as it would only stir up more hate and discontent. Freaking unbelievable people using their time wisely.

Hope you're joking...should provide an update even if it is "still working on it and we have no idea why you all are constantly disconnecting". They are taking the same approach Ignition did at this point. Beyond frustrating to disconnect with 100s in the pot. Not sure on what stakes you play, but if you can stomach disconnecting with your $ in the pot more power to you.

I play the stakes appropriate to my bankroll (I am not rolling around in piles of money), and also take into account the "disconnect" factor. Agreed I would like to see a response too, but come on if a rep came on here and said what you said they should say, they would just get blasted.

I get that it is frustrating to lose money because of disconnect issues. And personally I haven't had it happen to me, so I live in an isolated bubble in that way, but still, surely you are joking if you expect a human to go to a forum and say, "Yep its broke, no idea how to fix, sorry" That's insane. Walk a mile in someone's shoes is all I am advocating for. Post screen shots, timing, and any details that can help and keep the complaining to a min. I don't think anyone on here wants the disconnects to continue so i am not sure what complaining about the disconnects will actually do.

And then tagging on with the rake conversation is just outlandish. Go to Starbucks today and then complain to the register person about why the prices are so high, and see if you get anywhere. Post results. See if Starbucks corporate gets back to you on your complaint.

Perfect example.

How exactly is this helpful?

Does Global read this and go "Yeah we didn't care at all about disconnects, but now that this post has been made, baton down the hatches boys, no one leaves the offices today until the disconnect issues are fixed."

Seems unlikely.

Can't do screenshots because you don't want to, fine. At least post details like Table, time, situation, you know helpful data.

Or sit tight until it gets fixed.

Or leave. If Global disconnects are really as bad as I seem to see here, vote with your feet.

They should make a website where I can look stuff like that up. Call it... poogle or something like that.. I bet that would make a lot of money

Re: Global lag is out of control!!!

Tagging along the rake issue is not "outlandish". If you literally have the highest rake in online poker then you should have infrastructure that matches that. I have played over 100k hands of 100-2,000 plo and have probably raked a nauseating amount for this company. I have withdrawn everything and "voted with my feet" just wish they would get their act together as they are the best shot at a viable online poker site in the USA.

And that is something I can respect. Put the money where the mouth is. And I am with you, I think Global has a very good shot to make "online poker great again" whatever that might mean. Still we have no need for complaints that are unproductive.

With that said, I will send a PM along when Global disconnects calm down. I will also send a PM when the rake lowers... but come on I am never going to send that PM, and trust me, its not because I don't want to.

And for anyone else, Rutledge leads the way. If you really want your voice herd you have two options:

1. Help them fix it
2. Leave

But seriously we don't need anyone else just complaining. It helps no one. Maybe you feel better, but then find somewhere else for your therapy sessions. YouTube is a great place if you want to just post endless unhelpful comments.

Re: Global lag is out of control!!!

yeah happened to me too.... It didn't make any sense because the player that bet and won the hand was showing "disconnected". My connection was fine but the option to bet never came up so i had nothing to click and I ended up timing out my winning hand and forfeiting what i had already invested. i've played online for a long time and this is the worst online poker ive seen

They could at least inform us on what they are doing to fix the problem.

Not saying that isn't true, but it is entirely possible that the CS rep on here doesn't know. Trying to get the IT department to explain exactly what they are doing and then translating that information to, let's be honest, at best a hostile environment, is really quite a challenge.

Now, if they hadn't said anything in 4 pages of complaints I would understand some "Hey can you give us a status?" But that just isn't the case.

My day job is the other side of this coin, I understand the pain of trying to troubleshoot IT equipment that is working fine at one moment and another completely broken, and then users beating down your door wanting answers.

Its also likely they are working these issues through the actual provider of software Cubiea, or however that is spelled. Adding even more complications into the picture.

All I am advocating for is putting yourself in their shoes. They have asked for screenshots, time stamps, and info when things disconnect. What we need to do is provide those things, or wait, or leave.

Its just like the people who complain around elections, and then you ask, "Well did you vote?" Nope. SMH, why are you complaining then? If you can't be involved in a way to make a change, then your complaints are baseless.

So complain, scream and yell, while you post your screenshots, and time stamps. If that is what I was seeing, you wouldn't hear a peep out of me. Instead I see a lot of

"Global sucks. Fix it Global."

To those people, Gee thanks. Super helpful. Also Congress has issues. And the Middle east has problems. And the sun will rise. And we need oxygen. Care to share anymore true, but useless info with us?

Re: Global lag is out of control!!!

I've been collecting screenshots on my computer, i sent pm's with specific time's when i've been disconnected. It seems like they are slow to deal with a lot of problems, like the really simple one where blinds are auto-posted when you come back from a dc. how come that hasn't been fixed yet?

it is in my best interest to get this problem solved so i am cooperating here.

Lets give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they can't respond to these threads.....because their internet keeps disconnecting.

Re: Global lag is out of control!!!

I had a disconnect in a HU situation at a SNG table. I have the screen shots below and can provide video if that is helpful. It disconnected in the first screenshot and then finally let me bet. Then when I got dealt the next hand it had me as sitting out and folded me. I got it unchecked pretty quickly, but still the timing wasn't terrible. It didn't cost me any money or anything, I was outclassed HU anyways, so 2nd was all I was likely ever going to get
