Hi guys, thanks for reporting this. There hasn't been a report for the past 24 hours, does it look like this was just isolated to this time or is it still occurring for everyone.

I haven't had a disconnect all week, and only saw one player at my table disconnect.

This will be my last post on this subject. I feel like I'm a broken record.

Many disconnects of other players and serious lag. This issue has no real affect on me. I read books while I play, and I play for pennies. I want GP to thrive, and this issue may have a bearing on my wish. I hope GP can correct this problem.

I'm having great fun playing on this site. I hope others are too. I believe in this site.

Hadn't played at global in awhile. Signed back in and got into a huge multi-way pot. The lag kicked in on the flop and I almost got disconnected and then again on the river. It cost me a lot of money.

Honestly, it's hard enough to focus on poker sometimes without freezes that are so long that begin to think you lost the pot, only to be thrust back in with action that has passed or who knows.

I can't afford to lose big hands on a site for such a reason. Ridiculous.

what is a "lot" of money?

regardless of the actual dollar amount, the lag issue is a real thing at global. Hopefully they can figure out and correct it's cause.

I've been getting lag spikes this morning (3 in 24 minutes)....but haven't disconnected.

I havent experienced lag.

I have to say that lag hasn't effected me in weeks. It could be indicative of a problem with specific browser and the site. Chrome on PC has been fine.

Cant even remember the last time I was disconnected. Guess thats a huge positive considering im on there every day.

I didn't experience any disconnection this weekend which was great. But the one thing that annoys me when I start playing sometimes after a few minutes it will boot me to login. I didn't have to login to start playing, I am usually still logged in from playing earlier.

That always happens if still logged in after not playing for a while. I just refresh my browser and log back in anyway if I haven't played in a while so that won't happen.

That is a good idea and a heck of a lot better than being booted while having a hand. Thanks.

i consistently get lag on global poker every time i play, not an isolated incident at all. im not sure if its because of my browser, ive heard microsoft edge runs global better than google chrome and ive been meaning to try it but just havent gotten around to trying.

that being said, if it is the browser, the software developers should strive to make the site as compatible as possible with every major browser for the players convenience although i realize that can be difficult in extensive browser based applications like this.

it would also be cool if there was a dedicated desktop client for the site, i think that would run much better than any browser application could and players could have the option of either playing directly in the browser or downloading the dedicated client, but that would of course would take a lot of coding for the development team to implement so i understand why thats not an option

lags all the time it is so annoying

I haven't had any lag whatsoever but I'm on a great internet connection. Still, this is an 8 year old pos laptop I'm on. Regardless, the "software" on here is the worst part of the whole deal. I love the site, am making money here, but this is like 1998 interfacing. Please modernize things. The software srsly bothers me more than the rake.

This is the second day in a row latency is so bad last night in top 10 in RS 20L after 2nd break, close to money then latency hit I was unable to play one hand as I watched blinded out 43rd happened again today played song no problem enter RS 21L soon as I'm seated boom nothing and obviously since I'm here it's not my internet connection and I tried 3 different devices and I have the internet I have so I dont have latency issues ps excuse the grammatical errors

Im having the same lag issues. I just end up sitting out watching my stack blind away when the lag hits. Ive heard that closing the lobbies for mtts helps with the lag, but Ive not tried it out myself.

I used to have this problem quite a bit until i reset my chrome settings. I don't know if this has been posted already in here but it might help someone.
