It looks like multiple people in Discord are having the same issue. Dead.

Wonder what's gonna happen to all the hands I was still in the middle of, good to know everyone is having the same issue at least. Thanks for posting, I bet people are starting to flock to this forum to see what's going on.

Edit: Can I get an invite to the discord you are in? That sounds cool.

My initial email about the site crashing:

This afternoon at approximately 2:20 PM EST your site crashed. I know it wasn't just my internet, as I've seen numerous people complaining that the site went down for them as well. When the site went down I was playing six Sit'n'Go tournaments. Four Winston($11), One Sonia($22), and one Clifton($33). I was able to log back in at about 2:38 PM and I had busted out of 5 of the 6 tournaments, and had essentially no chips remaining in the last one. I looked at my account, and I did somehow cash in 3rd place in two of the tournaments, totaling $72. However, I was in very good chip position in a few of these tournaments, including the $33 Clifton, where I was in 2nd place with 5 players remaining(and someone was all in with a call when the site crashed). I would like more than just a refund on my six entries, which totaled $99.

I believe that 2nd place money($81) for the $33 Clifton, plus a full refund for the other five Sit'n'Go tournaments is fair. This would be a total of $147($75 more than I received from cashing in two of the tournaments while the site was down). I'm one of the most loyal players on your site. I've played nearly 4,000 tournaments since the end of March, and paid well over $4,000 in rake/entry fees, but issues like this are very frustrating to me. My request is more than fair, and I likely should be asking for more than this.

I got a pretty generic response back, but I had hope that they would do the right thing:

Hello,

We are aware that a small number of players experienced disconnection issues. This may be due to localized internet or ISP issues, however, we are currently looking into it. If there is an issue on our side, rest assured that we will compensate accordingly. Please allow us within 48 hours to investigate this further.

Our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Sincerely,

Global Poker Support Team

About an hour ago I received this response, where they denied that anything was wrong with the site.

Thank you for contacting Global Poker Customer Support.

We understand your concern and after checking, I was able to confirm that we did not have any issues during these games. We also did not receive any reports from the other players registered to the tournament that they have experienced the same issues. As indicated in our Card Room Rules:

Global Poker accepts no responsibility for the quality of a player’s personal internet connection or for any disruptions to it, except for those directly related to Global Poker’s servers.
In the instance of server-side issues, where possible, Global Poker will seek to reasonably compensate players deemed to be financially affected in a manner deemed appropriate by Global Poker (in its sole discretion).

Also, if you got logged out from a table, we suggest that you turn on the "Open Tables in a Window" option. This way it allows you to have a separate window for the tables you have joined. You can turn this on by clicking the "Menu" button located at the upper left side of the poker lobby next to the house icon.

Should you have any other concerns, please contact Customer Service by submitting a request through our Help Center, https://globalpoker.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new, and we'll be glad to assist you anytime.

Everyone should be very careful about playing on here.

Ditto. Glad they did the correct thing, and I hope that everyone else can get their refunds.
