its not that uncommon to have a micro HU match where some1 leaves, forgets, ect.

usually i limp, tank, and check down waiting for em to show back up.

ive had a player call me a bot and quit like 9 hands into a micro hu SNG.

that said ive encountered players who limp every hand and give zero action. it can by annoying as their range is kept open and getting value outta them just doesnt happen often unless ur right on top of them hand wise. jus be patient and get em when the blinds go up

Each of us expresses our point of view, and each reader discerns which of us (or maybe neither of us) is expressing something which to them has a "ring of truth."

If someone believes that your one minute and 34 second video is rock-solid evidence that you were playing against a bot, good for them! If someone else agrees with me that the short video doesn't prove anything one way or another, good for them, too!

How someone can honestly sit here and say that tanking, not raising pre, and not cbetting against a sat out player in a HU SnG, is not suspicious, just blows my mind. I'm not buying the "He's a fair and nice guy, just patiently waiting to see if the other player gets back", argument. If it was for a few mins, ok yes perhaps. But for the entire SnG? They'd have to have the patience of the Dhali Lama.

Not to mention in the times I played them, the timing and tendencies were identical.

By the way, I never claimed that Shanghai's bot claim was false. I merely said that based on the specific evidence that he showed me (a 1 minute and 34 second video) that I couldn't make a determination one way or another. I am agnostic about his bot claim at the moment.

Ask Shanghai to forward you the video and after you watch it give us your opinion.
