Rake seems somewhat in line with other sites (to my knowledge). If rec players like them then good move. I personally haven't played many jackpots, but may try a few out. I just wish they would focus on some of the other issues with their site instead.

Not being able to unregister is a terrible feature both them and bovada both have. What if somebody tries to play super late at night not knowing any better and the game doesn't go off for awhile? SOL?

Yeah there's a popup that says "do you want to stay registered or unreg?" after 5 mins. Works fine.

Well I played a $2 one just to test it out. I was first at the table and 2 more joined in less than 1 minute. Only 3 players, the blinds were 3 minutes and the jackpot spun out at $4 winner take all. Kind of Meh but something different. I will play again but more than a few times is not likely.

You should be able to unreg, I have misclick regged the wrong sng many times because you have to do it quick and the tables do not pop up but I usually realize then get in the correct one.

Is there any type of board letting us know if someone has hit any of the jackpots?

Well, I tried a couple yesterday morning ($2 Spins), and before I knew it, I had played over a hundred of them with a $1.5 profit and I was thinking easy money...and then in the afternoon/evening I had the gods of variance shine down on me with doom. I played another 125 games (also $2 Spins), where I did see a significant number of $8 and $12 jackpots compared to my first small session of mostly $4 pots...but at that time I couldn't buy a pot. So out of the 125 games, I won three (3 for a total of $24), you can do the math. I'll try again today and maybe tomorrow and see what the happens, but will probably return to my lowly life of playing $3 MTTs.

I agree with mgodd. I would much rather there be an increase in the variety of mtt's than adding jackpots.

I would like to see any one of: a progressive bad beat jackpot in cash games, lower cash game rake, more normal deep stack tournaments, ANY non rebuy or turbo satellites into a big tournament or ANY decent tournament that starts earlier than 1PM EST more than this gimmick. How can it be 1PM Saturday on the east coast and there is no decent tournament to play? Also this person in charge of tournaments has some obsession with rebuys, add ons, and super turbos. Why are you trying to reinvent the wheel? Just offer good normal tournaments. Joke to see 2 rebuys one add on all day. Also if you do offer a rebuy you should be able to rebuy if you have any starting stack or lower. No normal poker room makes you be broke to rebuy. I really don't think your tournament director knows what he is doing or has played much poker.

I played about 20 and every single one was 2x except 1 which was 4x. I know anything above 4x is very rare but I think I should have seen a few more 4x since they are supposed to happen 25% of the time. I know its a small smaple size but I'm skeptical.

without hh's and reporting recent larger prize pool game winners similar how other sites do in the lobbies they're gonna have a tough time keeping people playing them with these kind of reports coming in. Unless they start advertising randoms that supposedly hit jp's on social media I guess. Or twitch streamers that hit big ones, on WPN thrash370 hit one on stream shortly after they were introduced, then pretty much broke even over a large sample iirc.

one would think so and you're probably right. Just typical GP business model of doing things backwards or wrong for the most part. If it were me i'd prefer the games structures and offerings, and cashier via paypal from 2 years ago. But most of the changes they make don't help me or make me want to spend more time with or play any more games on the site.

Don't care enough to read the thread but if it hasn't been addressed they need to make it so people aren't waiting at tables when they could combine tables to make the game run. I've had 4 open and been sitting with one other person at literally all 4 before. Fix it up global ty. Cool idea to bring these in though.
