No change on my side. I do notice that when I have the MTT lobby open, for example, the nightly 7K, it causes serious lag on all of my tables, MTT & Ring games. Once I am able to close the lobby tab, the lag pretty much disappears.

Can't have this, gotta be able to have the lobby's open during the MTT's.

As of now, am having to close lobby for the lag to go away, then re-open lobby every so often to see status of the tournament.

I have asked the team for some information around what players can do to help fix this quicker. As soon as I know more I will let you know.

Am I the only one who can’t take notes on other players most of the time. Sometimes I can’t even bring up the little menu. And most times when I can bring it up to click on notes nothing happens. It’s about 4/5 players I’m unable to take notes on. WTF? Very annoying.

Yeah notes doesn't work all of the time. The trick I have found is you can always get to their notes when they are in a hand. So I will often "tank fold" an instant fold because I want to make sure I get the notes in there before it goes to the next hand and they fold quickly and I can't make notes until the hand after that, and forget or whatever else might be happening.

I have had a chat with our development team about the best way to remove some of these issues.

One of the main issues they seem to be having is that they can't replicate the issues that a lot of you are experiencing which is making resolving it very difficult.

As has been suggested in this thread, they would like to work with some players to try and resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

With that in mind, can I ask for anyone who is experiencing consistent issues and is somewhat computer literate (don't have to be an expert just know basic stuff) to send me a PM?

In regards to the lobby glitch, could you ask for your software team to add the amount of players remaining be visible on the table itself? Currently it only shows your current position in the tournament, but adding the amount of remaining players to the middle of the table as well would be a great addition so players wouldn’t have to constanly check multiple lobbies to begin with. Plus it would be a temporary fix to the current problem we are experiencing. The only thing that this wouldn’t help would be knowing other tables exact chip stack sizes, but at least this would help to know how many are left near the bubble and other instances where this information is critical.

Not a bad idea in theory. But given their software ineptitude, I'm guessing if Global implemented this, the number would lag way behind actual players left and result in misinformation.

I see what your saying but your current position in the tournament at the center of the table is still always correct.

It's funny that they have not fixed any of these glitches especially the ones that been around since the start of the site. The fixes are pretty basic. Makes you wonder what their mindset really is

They claim none of the bugs exist or that they've never heard of them existing. At least that was my experience with their email support. It seems the development team doesn't understand how poker is played (i.e. incorrect blinds assessed short handed or sb automatically checking when bb is all in).

Same problem here. Also, it's too easy to join the wrong SNG. Very often I will go to click on the SNG I want to join, and it will have changed location in the queue so it ends up opening a different SNG than the one I want to play. If the one I'm targeting has 5/6 entrants and I need to join fast, it's all too easy to join the wrong SNG.

Yep, that happens a lot.

The entire sng lobby is a mess really. Lobby Filters and having games that you're registered for be highlighted/pinned to the top shouldn't be very difficult to add.

I forgot to unreg a $100 sng today when I was done playing because I didn't realize I had registered for it earlier

His job is such that he is "damned if he does, and damned if he does not" in a forum such as this. It is a ****ty responsibility with a lot of -EV spots. Any attempt to assuage you would only piss off someone else

Actually it's too easy to join the RIGHT SNG. When you select your game it opens the lobby for the game you selected. Just double-check to make sure it is the correct one before hitting register. You are blaming Global for something that is completely under your control.

First time playing tournaments on this site and when I click on the Go To Table button nothing happens. I have to then go find my name on the list and click on Open Table which makes me miss hands. Is there anyway to fix this?

Update - This is the worst poker site I've ever played on. Especially when it comes to tournaments. The glitches just put me on tilt.

I was having that same issue and found that I had to turn off pop-up blocker or white list Global in my pop-up blocker so the tournament table would pop-up. Google Chrome.

Lobbies still not updating for many of us, and a new turbo tournament series just announced. I’m flabbergasted as to why GP would initiate another series while these major issues still affect a large percentage of players.

Stopped playing MTT's during last day of Rattlesnake....went totally to cash games. Cash games seem to run flawlessly but if you throw a MTT into the mix, problems start to arise with lag, lobby updates and tables going missing when you accidently hit fold instead of check button during hand. Tried the $5k Bonanza yesterday with no other tables running and I could watch the table clock freeze and skip 15-25 seconds at a time. Very frustrating on the MTT side but like I said, cash games run great...maybe I will run great at cash games one day!!
