Am I the only one who doesn't feel comfortable just trusting GP that they got my account balance right?
How are we supposed to even know that our account balances are being updated to the correct amount during the lag period between leaving a table and the funds showing up in the account balance?
With this policy in place, it seems very easy for GP to decide to just start scooping a couple dollars off my balance each time I leave a table. How would I have any idea that the correct amount was placed in my balance?
Even if we did have a gripe about this and thought the amount that showed up in our balance was incorrect, we'd have absolutely no way to prove it.
The software itself has proved to be quite buggy. Who else has been dealt into a hand without a pot and not given any option to bet? How do we know there aren't other bugs that could potentially siphon off our funds or mess with the rake calculation?
It just seems shady to me, why don't you want us to be able to do our own accounting and check to make sure you haven't made any errors?
The current policy just makes it seem like GP has something they are trying to hide.
First off, +1. Global needs to show account history to and from tables and to and from Tournaments. This is my number one feature request of them.
With that said, I track my account balance and have never had any issues except for a SNG which got fouled up and was an issue with the site that was fixed a few weeks back.
I have been playing here since Feb-2017 so if they are skimming money, they aren't doing it from me.
I don't auto-reload, so that doesn't get me, and I will have a couple of tables open here and there, but mostly one table.
It get that many players don't play this way, and so tracking things is much more difficult. I would encourage them to do their best to track things and if they really want to make sure things are legit, use ShareX a freeware open source screen recording software, and then you can review the game tape as it were.
I get that this isn't a real solution, I don't present it as such. Its more of a workaround for the time being.
The REAL solution is Global shows your starting balance, any reloads and ending table balance for EVERY table you play. SNGs and Tournaments should also show their data.
