Thanks for the breakdown, I had forgotten about the other GC events where you have to get flops there and win a certain amount of GCs to play in them. I never did play in them myself due to the time they started and player pool size, all that to say I think your last point is spot on.

That is a super cool story, "I paid $0.11 to win $1k+". ROI there is pretty nice.

Very true. It'll probably be closer to $800 given that a lot of people are going to register for it, but still would be fun to win lol

It's also worth noting that a lot of people would play all three of the 11c tournies every night. So even though Global collected about the same amount of 11c buyins last night, they got MORE individual players to sign up for this tourney than via the previous structure (since a lot of people would be paying multiple 11c buyins on a given night).

I suppose this means that the freeroll $ Global gives out is more likely to be spread out to a wider player pool, which is probably good for the site and the site's ecosystem as a whole

I feel like you might just be a smarter version of me, I agree that the money being more spread out is a good thing. Some one just posted in the rake thread they have run up their $2 into $5k. Stories like those get out, and Global won't be able to miss GTDs.

Yeah, i mean this site is GREAT for micro players. Those 11 cent buyin tourneys with the insane overlays was a great way to run $10 up to a solid amount
11-09-2017 , 11:38 PM
How is there so much overlay?

What is the deal with deposit history not being available on this site? It's so bizarre and annoying. I mean yeah in the grand scheme of things, not high on the list of complaints, but it's just weird that you have to go to paypal and scroll through your own transactions to figure out what you've deposited here.

The "history" section of your account at globalpoker.com only shows payouts, and there's no financial info listed at all at globalpoker.com/play. Why would they even have a "history" section if it's not gonna include deposits?

>bump ffs

+2 (Since I +1 this last time)

For sure its not the most important thing for Global to do, but come on, it can't be that hard either.

with the old 250gtd you had 3 chances to make a ft every day, plus the 50sweeps flops 500gtd

now, theres no 50sweeps flops 500gtd, it has been replaced by the bonanza 500gtd which is 1 single& more difficult chance to make 1 single final table. plus the other 3 chances to make a final table are gone.

had a scumbag blatantly abusing the sitout bug in a hu match to regain the button twice in a row. pls fix

Anyone still having trouble makeing deposits here for no apparent reason? Made two 20.00 deposits, no issues. Tried making another, "Sorry we cannot process your payment at this time". Seems like there has been a history with this from what I could google, wondering if it's still a pretty common thing.

Not sure what you saw on google, but I would say the overall experience so far on Global is that buying Gold Coins and redeeming $weeps Cash have all been a pretty smooth experience. I won't say perfect, people have had issues. I would also send along a PM to the Global reps here on 2+2 and an email to support. I am sure they will get to the bottom of it.

Nope, just that message:

Sorry, we can’t complete your purchase at this time
Please return to the merchant and choose another way to pay.

with VGW Holdings Limited in the top left.

I messaged support last night telling them I had done all the steps such as I had seen them advise other customers, deleting cookies, new browser, delete browser, etc. No change. They said to try again in a few hours in their response. Tried again just now but same error.

Update:

Basically there was some sort of security hold on Paypal's end. I decided to call them and just let them know I was having trouble making a payment, the lady said she would take care of it and there shouldn't be any more issues. Should be able to try again after 30 min, if I do have issues I will update again, if not I'll consider it resolved.

Trying to get on the website but I'm stuck at the loading screen, using Chrome. Anyone else had the same problem? Any solutions besides the sandbox solution on page 23?

For sure get a hold of support. Some players had this problem a while back, but I think it has been resolved for them. With that said, your symptoms sound pretty close to what they were dealing with.

Okay, I have a question regarding SnG payout structures. Lets say there are 3 players left in a 9 person SnG and the payouts look like: 1st) $45 2nd) $27 and 3rd) $18 . What happens when 2nd and 3rd place tie, by losing to the 1st place player in an 3 person All-in ? Do the 2 losing players split $27, or do they split the total of 2nd and 3rd place prizes for a total of $22.50 each? Unless, it's whoever had the most chips between the two losers to determine 2nd and 3rd place ?

whichever bustee had the most chips gets sole 2nd and the full 2nd place payout

the black screen will pop up claiming both players got 2nd, but the payouts remain the same regardless

Are you sure on this? Because if this is true, this is a change that Global has made recently (not complaining if it did get changed to clarify).

In the past it has been the split thing you talked about. In fact in the above scenario if 4th and 3rd bust at the same time, the 3rd place price money is split between them. Its been a while since I have seen the double bust out to verify, but for sure in the last couple of months it was that way.

All that to say, if it has changed, that sounds good to me.
11-23-2017 , 05:57 PM
Yeah, I know 3rd and 4th place split the third place prize when busted at the same time. That's why I was curious about 2nd and 3rd.

Hmmmmm

Well, I did just assume, because that's the way SnGs have always run everywhere else I've ever played. Maybe I'm wrong! I just thought it was a glitch when the black screen told you your final place when multiple people bust at the same time.

I've played like 3k SnGs on here over the past 2 months, maybe I should figure out for sure!
