In regards to the software. We have purchased a license of the source code and are in the process of forking it. Once that is done we can and will develop it any way we chose. This is a priority to us so we can offer the best player experience possible.

Please resolve my issue as I find it unsettling that I cannot verify my account. I receive an email on Friday the 10th of Feb. asking for an ID and a bank statement to verify. Tonight the Daily Gold Coins Challenge $100 Freeroll begn dealing at 8:57pm. Previously every tournament I've played has started dealing 3 min before scheduled time.

Computer clock matches phone and watch time but I don't see a clock in the lobby. Perhaps this would be a good tweak.

How does VGW / Chumba Casino / Global Poker differ from the Sweepstakes Internet Cafe model?


The key difference is in the product that VGW sells in Chumba Casino / Global Poker, versus the product that Sweepstakes Internet Cafes sell.


VGW sells virtual currency. Internet Cafes sell "phone cards" and "internet time"


For sweepstakes cafes, the utility of their products are questionable at best, or nil at worst. The products are widely seen (both by players and law enforcement) as simply mechanisms to obtain more sweepstakes without promoting the trade in a bona fide product. (eg. Who pays for internet time or phone cards these days?)


However, virtual currency for use in social casino and/or social poker games is by contrast a very large, legitimate and mature market.


The success of games like Slotomania, Doubledown Casino or Zynga Texas Hold 'Em Poker are evidence of the large market for virtual currency social casino games.


Chumba Casino and Global Poker are such virtual currency social casino games.


VGW sells virtual currency (Gold Coins) for use at these games, where players play only for entertainment.


Because virtual currency product has wide use and precedent, demonstrable in the social casino industry, it is therefore a bonafide product unlike those of Sweepstakes Internet Cafes.

Internet Cafes are also subject to laws that consider physical establishments and the use of sweepstakes; as opposed to VGW's social casino games which do not fall in the same category.

He's correct, I've been playing on global for a few weeks and this has been true in 100% of the tournaments I've played. They all launch 3 minutes early. If you open the tournament lobby during this time the text under the game title will still say "starts in 2 minutes" (or whatever) but the register button will already show as running and you can't enter anymore.

All tournaments start 2 or 3 minutes early I have seen. What about the rathole time? There doesn't seem to be one. I leave a .25 .50 table with 80 and 3 hours or 4 hours later I still have to buy in for 80 and can't for 50. Site otherwise is running really good in terms of no disconnects or disruptions.

Dunno, but it's hard to believe when there are usually less than 30 people playing at any time. I think I would notice 15+ full tables filled with similar screen names

Ive seen one guy do it 20 times in a row within 30 minutes doesn't have to be separate tables . Is there no censorship on this site whatsoever? Just curious doesn't really bother me.

Can you cash out to a paypal email address that is different than your signup email address? If so, that's a leak. If not, then there's a hurdle to bonus farming.

That is definitely a bug that needs to be fixed. You would think that there is some sort of policing over offensive names for players. How is that overlooked??
