Just explain why and if required have sufficient supporting evidence. You are correct this is pretty common. As long as we can confirm you are who you say you are that is all that is required.

We are much more interested in confirming you are a real person as opposed to knowing exactly where you live! (Unless you have a comfy couch and a big TV )

Why no late registration for MTTs? It would really help your GTDs, I've missed several by a few minutes .

Hey Derp!

This has been a topic of great discussion in other threads (The Improvement Thread I believe).

There has been much debate about whether to allow late reg or not. Can you have a look at that discussion and see if the opinions held in there sway your thoughts or now?

Interested in as much feedback as we can get on it it is something we are literally discussing at the moment.

I also enjoy the no late reg. Gives players a better idea of how long the tourney is going to run when they sign up.

+1 to no late reg, for many reasons

I don't see what 30 minutes of late reg would hurt. It sucks on other sites because they have 3-4 hours of it. Look at how many players join a tournament in the last 10 minutes. I'm sure quite a few miss out every night.

Also, it's been said before, but can you guys please fix the breaks?? Not talking about Sit and Go's obviously, but all scheduled tournaments should go on break at :55 past the hour. Just pause the tournament clock, even if it's in the middle of a level and go on break. So if we play a tournament at 8:00 and 8:30, they're on break at the same time. Many would appreciate it.

It would hurt because the mtt structure on this site is already basically hyper turbo, 30 mins in is push fold stage in most. And I am HIGHLY against re entries. With the current MTT structures I'd think MAYBE 1 level of late reg max would work before it started to look similar to the other sites just because, again, these structures are so quick.

+1 for synched breaks in mtt's, and please remove them from sngs entirely!

Sngs - please add $10+1 regular speed 9man games, currently there is only turbo $10+1 9mans.

Agree the structures are super fast. Global, it'd be nice to have at least one tourney per day, or even just one per week with deeper structure. Maybe a $50, 100, or 200 buy in Sunday tourney to rival the gold coin challenge. 5 or 10k starting chips with 12-15 minute levels. Even blinds that start lower, like 5/10, 10/20, 15/30, 25/50, etc.

As for the late reg though, TBH, I don't care about late reg, I do love the overlays. BUT, everyone here seems to want to keep it rec friendly. I would argue that no late reg is not rec friendly because if you're a reg, you already know what mtt's you're playing and what time they start and usually register way ahead of time if need be.

Can you tell me more about how Global Poker works? Any site that allows you to cash out via Pay Pal should be at risk of getting seized or their Paypal account banned for gaming. Any poker site that operates in the US boarders and is not off shore (like Bet Online, Ignition, Winning Poker Network) is at a exponentially greater risk of getting shut down and seized.

Maybe I don't understand this, if this site is anything like Poker Mania I believe it is very suspect. Can you guys put me at ease or let me know of how the operations of this site work a little more?

Hi BWillie, thanks for getting in touch. This has been covered quite extensively in this thread and on this forum. In the interest of not clogging this up I will leave that for you to look through.

Alternatively, please feel free to take a look at our FAQ page on the Global Poker website which covers many of the questions you have asked.

Thanks

Anyone know or have any insight what the tournament schedule /guarantees will be once the OWC ends? Can we expect it to remain the same as Now?

Thanks

As it turns out I have the schedule from before all of this... things could be different (I would expect they would be, but this might give you a good idea.

Tourney Name Time Min Players GTD
Daily $100 5:00 PM 20 $100
Daily Omaha $250 6:00 PM 20 $250
$100 Freeroll 7:00 PM 20 $100
Omaha $750 8:00 PM 20 $750
Daily $1000 8:00 PM 20 $1,000
100 Flops Freeroll 9:00 PM 20 $500
Daily $200 9:30 PM 20 $200
100 Flops Challenge 10:00PM 20 $500
Weekly $2500 11:00PM 20 $2,500
Weekly Flops $1500 8:30 PM 20 $1,500

Again, some of these may change, and I may have missed a few, these were the ones I kept my eyes on

Tha ks splayaa.

Wow didn't realize they were that small. I started playing mid series. I sure hope they keep what they have now going.... It's clearly very popular and successful.....

Can any gp rep give us some insight? Please keep it how it is now!

Thanks

From each pot? Where do u play tournament poker at? Unless they dump them on house shills what would the purpose of pot rake.

Edit: after 30 minutes money was deposited back in my GP account.

GP NEEDS TO ALLOW PLAYERS TO VIEW TABLE TRANSACTION LOGS! COME ON GP!! MAKE THIS AVAILABLE TO PLAYERS!!!
07-15-2017 , 12:16 AM
Yo ^ this exact thing JUST happened to me. I was just messing around and left a table to join a tourney and my balance never updated! I went back to the table and the minimum buy in is exactly what i left with but my balance is still 0!?
07-15-2017 , 02:04 AM
Just got wind of this site and created an account. Posting so the thread is easily accessible on the phone app.

Some questions after a quick glance:

-is there limit hold em or limit 08 cash games?
-how do you filter the tournaments so I only have to look at the ones that are registering and not have to wade through all the ones that are running?
07-15-2017 , 03:21 AM
No limit cash games at all and there are no lobby filters.
07-15-2017 , 05:04 PM
So I just made an account and they just give you $2 worth of chips for free? Pretty cool if so. I'm still just goofing around looking at the lobby and tables and all that.
