Re: General questions Globalpoker.com

I don't get what the issue is with this site. There aren't that many users, but nobody at customer support answers emails. I requested a cashout over 7 days ago, and i even proactively emailed them my license and utility bill, which all match with my paypal info and the info I gave them. I have no idea why I can't get a reply and why I can't get my money off the site.

Is the rep still active here? I could really use some help.

Why not scroll through the threads in this sub-forum, that would pretty much answer your question.

As far as delay, they have been inundated with multiple requests from people for the same thing. Evidently, they are fairly short staffed and being have not been able to comprehend that, even though Kim has mentioned it several times. Some are even astute enough to join 2+2 and then declare the site a scam, making sure to pay zero attention to the list of people that have been paid out and some that have posted screen shots.

It takes a week +/- for the initial approval and then it is smooth sailing, for the most part. It is the weekend and the reps may take a day off now and then. No need to worry, you should be fine.

i've been on this site for over 7 years. as a lot of other people who aren't very active, sometimes i don't have the time to read through 40 pages of posts to get an answer, un top of that, it seems nobody has gotten any decent service without a complaint being posted.

beyond that, why do you think a poker site should be given a weekend or two off? there business is still fully operational on weekends right? further more, i'd go as far as to say they are probably busier on weekends than on weekdays, which would mean they should have more customer support on weekends, not have people taking days off.

lastly, i've sent 4 emails over the past 7 days with no response, i even sent in the bill and ID pictures before they even asked me to do it, because i didnt' want to have more delays.

Thanks for trying to defend the great people over at global poker, it's always nice to see someone on the payroll taking up the good fight for a site when they are clearly not doing their part to take care of their players in the customer service realm.

Honestly I don't think they were ready or expecting to grow as rapidly as there have and as a result aren't YET able to provide the best customer service. With that being said, ive always had a great experience with cash outs etc...I know it's frustrating for some of you but I honestly wouldn't be concerned about this site. Just give them time and they'll get their issues figured out. Iirc GP rep KIMBR stated awhile back that they've hired more customer service reps but it'll take some time for them to be trained in. This site isn't a scam people, just be patient.

Is Internet Explorer the default browser? You might want to try alternative browsers that are available for your machine like Bob Browser or UCBrowser.

You should get a dollar from us for each time you've been accused of being our employee.

Oh my, look at the time. That's it for me today. I surely hope I was able to answer everyone. Bye now.

What are some of the improvements and upgrades for Global coming down the pipeline?

And a approximate date for those improvements?

Lol, a shill?? Damn... that is almost as flattering as being called a bot. The truth of the matter is, I have a fairly keen eye for the obvious. Had you taken the time to either read waaayyyy back two or three pages, you would have seen that Global rep is here regularly now. As far as the shill joke goes, I regularly commented on the lack of professionalism when they disappeared for almost two weeks.

Another way you could have sought answers is this cool site.... www.google.com it provides soooo much information on pretty much everything, including, wait for it.....Global Poker, aka VGW Holdings. Prior to any comments or accusations, I checked them out. After seeing that they have management with decades long experience in the industry and involvement with public companies, I came to the way too obvious conclusion that their goal is not to rip off dopey poker players half a world away. The regulatory bodies will require annual audits and that is good enough for me. Now, I might be a bit naive in trusting an overseeing regulatory body and certified public accountants as opposed to maniacal forum posts declaring a scam that offer zero proof, but I'll take that risk.

By the way, I am also a shill for WPN. I have spoke out in favor of them, especially since their reps have first hand resolved a couple of issues for me. I did not accuse them of anything, but merely posed my problem. That may have provided a slight edge in attaining a favorable resolution. Crazy, huh?

Shill? Nah, just someone with the capacity to look into things prior to making stupid accusations with foundations in bull****. I am open to being on their payroll, but I'm thinking they may not like my performance as a customer service rep, maybe Kimbr's personal assitant!

To your viable questions....no, I do not think they should get the weekend off. I have read that they are greatly understaffed and do not expect someone to work seven days a week and twenty-four hours a day. They should hire staff adequate to support the demand for customer service. You also have a valid point in that they are surely more in demand on the weekend vs weekday. Again, I don't expect one person to be available 24/7. As pleasant and patient as Kimbr has been, there should be someone to help toe the line. On the flip side, no network here has someone follow their thread around the clock. A customer service phone number may be helpful, but honestly, what site has reps that are actually helpful on the phone or live chat? My personal experience has been that the 2+2 forum reps for every network are light years better than the ones you deal with on the phone or chat.

As someone else said, it seems they grew faster than they were capable of handling. I'm sure they will grow in staff to handle the demand, too.

Re: General questions Globalpoker.com

Hello

I have now had this issue twice. The first time my friend was staying with me and I told him about the site so he played. They put a hold on my account because two people were playing from the same IP not in The same games. He submitted his ID and they took the hold off my account and processed my cash out. I just got another email about two more players that were playing under the same IP as me. I do not know these players and since I play on my phone while I'm at the casino other players might play on the site there. Is there a way to avoid this from happening. This has delayed my cash outs and is getting very frustrating. Let me know how to contact as Global support responses are now about a week.

It would seem that depositing would be a priority at an online poker site. After several emails that have gone with no response I must assume that I thought wrong.
I was trying to find out if the Visa gift cards could be used for depositing, but all I get back is an auto response .
Good luck trying to stay in business.

Re: General questions Globalpoker.com

Hi Kimbr, I requested a cashout on 5/12 a.m. (EDT) and promptly submitted my ID verification documents to the support email by reply, and also in a separate email to that same address in case the reply did not register. I have not received any reply other than the automated support email response indicating I would have a reply between 24-48 hours, and I also have not received funds in my paypal account.

My username is DJansson11, can you please provide an update on when I should expect the funds or a reply email? The ID verification emails were sent from my email address on file, xxxxx@gmail.com

Thank you

I am not sure if this is a workaround or not. Go to your PayPal account (or open up a new paypal) and sign up for a business account. This will give you an opportunity to send invoice from Paypal to your email (separate email than what you signed up with). Then send yourself an invoice and then open your email up and "pay the invoice" using a credit card (your VISA gift card) and then it then fills your paypal and then buy your "gold Chips" with your Paypal. Voila. money from Visa Debit gift card to your Paypal account to GP. boom!!!

For anyone thinking about doing this... I would not do this without contacting a tax attorney first. Paypal reports everything and doing this will most likely mess with your tax situation.

This is not legal advice nor is intended to be.

It's sad that the reps of this company do not feel the need to chime in here on a place which was nice enough to sticky their promotion thread.

As I said earlier, this doesn't look very professional on their part.

Is it possible that they will, but it might take them longer than 6 hours to do so?

When I click on the purchase gold coins button it takes me directly to PayPal. Where do you see a different option to deposit?

Help has arrived as far as customer support manpower is concerned but of course, they need to be trained first. Also, removing the PayPal fees from the player's end just like on our sister site, Chumba Casino is still our top priority. Hopefully, within the next three months.
