Maybe a stupid question but does Global have any of these trophy tourey series coming up? The schedule for the Grizzly Games on their website still shows 2022 dates so I am a little confused.

I have been dealing with Global for nearly 2 weeks to get my correctly account verified. The first time I verified my account I used the automated link they provided. When I tried to withdraw I noticed that the account number was wrong.

When I asked them to change it to my account they acted like I was running a scam. My account is with Citibank and they wouldn't accept my bank statement because it said Citigold. I thought this was resolved by sending an image of a voided check, but I have not heard from them in a couple days.

I did some Google searches and it looks like this is a common problem with Global.

What are the biggest buy ins they run for tourneys on global? Do any of their series have “high rollers” or are the biggest buy ins $200?

$200 is the biggest, being the weekly Sunday Scrimmage 75K gtd., but they run several tourney series a year that have much bigger gtds for only $99.

Has anyone else had an issue in pro mode. Where your tables briefly will randomly go black. And then come back in 1-5 secs? Only happens to me in pro mode...

Unfortunate. Because I prefer pro mode for the bet sliders and presets in top right.

YES! I thought it was my computer but it only happens on global and the screens will freeze, go black, then reload but will be missing buttons and graphics. Odd

I also have a brand new PC...GFX 3080, when I select the "pro" mode, basically nothing happens, the game starts (I think) but in order for me to see the table, I have to turn it off. I have never seen it work, so not sure if I am missing something cool.

Glad it's not just me. There is a decent amount of "dislike" for Global, but I kind of like it. I do get confused with all the different types of BIG Tourney's they have, for the GC side I am like 700th place, lol, I think I played in one Free Roll, I did get to the last table with 900 people playing, I was pretty proud of that, freaking took HOURS... but it was fun. They do need to provide specific details on how these things work... I mean come on, its 2023, they have a YouTube channel (I think) you can easily put explanations and directions right there for people to watch.

Someone in the Twitch Global poker stream was kind enough to tell me a fix for this. You have to go in your browser settings and turn off GPU hardware acceleration.

Hey guys, whats the best way to post a hand history on the forums to review? unlike other sites it seems like its not easily done without manually doing it. am i missing an easier solution? i know oyu can give a link but I'd rather not have my account name visible to randoms on this forum.

also any serious study groups for global players? i'm just starting my journey but will be putting in decent volume and would like to learn and socialize. starting out at the 9max 50nl right now.

The reason I don’t play here: I sat’d into a 99$ PLO HL tournament and got 2300 USD for third or fourth. I played it down a bit, then went to sleep. My brother said I never woke up. So, I get up to cash out 1k USD to CAD and to have 350 left. But my money was at 500. There is no way I snuck past my brother. And I have no history sleep walking. But they said I did. Lol. I’m going back there, but I’m keep pictures of balances, etc..

Let me get this straight so we’re clear lol. You got 3rd or 4th….which is it? You played it down a “bit” and went to sleep. By my math you lost around 1800. Your brother said you never got up after you went to bed lol. Maybe your brother played down your balance? Maybe you did? I mean you don’t even know what place you got in the tourney. Keep records

Why not start your own thread and post ur hands? Im sure the peanut gallery (including me) would gladly give you insight if u posted a hand history in a thread.... mayB ill start one if u dont...

P.S. I'm a little curious Y dont u want to post ur global username on here. posting hand histories is way easier if u just post a link to the hand replayer/ reviewer at global. Lots of people post their global names on here... there's even a sticky thread on top of the forum.

just didn't know if there was a similar way to other sites to post the hands as opposed to the replayer. I've actually decided to give the cash game streets minimal time as the game is just different and a bit too hard to switch back and forth from playing live. i'm finding it way easier to just play a few global mtts instead.

If I make a withdrawal and will be receiving gift cards, do I still need to enter my bank information?

Hmmm. That doesn’t seem to be the case with me. I’m getting this message:

And then the gift card option is greyed out and I’m unable to select it.

Still seems super odd to me. So because I deposited with a credit card, I have to enter a bank account and not just withdraw with gift cards?

I'm no lawyer....However I believe a bank account is part of their sweeps stakes model. They have a process of Knowing Their Customers and validating a bank account seems to fulfill this requirement. Once you are verified they can release funds via gift card or not. Its probably to prevent laundering or similar crimes.

Curious if anyone else has had this issue.

I can't get my tables in the daily Bonanza to load on desktop. It doesn't pop up automatically, when I search my name I am unable to click the "go to table" button. I even tried opening every table manually and the only one I couldn't open was my table. I am able to play from mobile but would prefer to play on desktop.

I don't play any other tournaments so unsure if it's only an issue to this specific tournament.

Anyone know how safe our accounts are? No 2fa I’m aware of. Do they send a verification email if you sign in from a new device? I can’t remember them ever doing that? Would feel more comfortable if they do

Does using the "automated" Bank Verification tool, FULLY verify your account? By "fully" I mean for both deposits and withdrawals. I gotta say, there are a few horror stories on this forum of people getting their account closed WITH a balance, which is very worrying.

Giving someone my banking account number as well as the routing number, in the wrong hands, could really be devastating. I just want to know its as safe as online stuff can be, and two, by verifying using the bank verification tool, my verification is complete. Being disabled I do not have any of the "verification" paperwork they list on their site, I do have government documents, I guess, from my disability but I have nothing with a picture.

Appreciate any help on this. I have been playing for a couple months and have missed out on the BONUS SC because I haven't verified.
