And then the gift card option is greyed out and I’m unable to select it.
Guess I’ll see what Global support says.
I got an update (and full disclosure, I deposited with a CC)….
“We understand that you wish to redeem your prizes. However, you do are having some concerns. Allow us to kindly inform you that before you can successfully redeem your winnings, your nominated bank account needs to get verified first.
Also, please allow us to provide further clarification. Global Poker employs a number of measures to ensure the security of your account, including a "closed-loop" system whereby any redemptions must be processed first to your original purchase method.
If you have purchased via multiple methods, for example, a credit card and an e-wallet, you must redeem the equivalent of your purchases in both before requesting more. Once you have a net purchase balance of zero, you can then choose your redemption method. The system automatically generates a split redemption to your bank and Global Poker Prepaid Mastercard account for the equivalent of your purchase to each redemption method.
Kindly be advised that you may nominate your bank account anytime. You may now set up your bank account for your future redemptions by filling out the bank form below and attaching your bank statement for your nominated bank account:”
Still seems super odd to me. So because I deposited with a credit card, I have to enter a bank account and not just withdraw with gift cards?
