Like if you deposited $500 in that case all you'd have to do is sit down at a 2/5 table for $500 and play a hand and you'd have hit the play through requirement? Would appreciate someone breaking down how it's counted if they know, thank you.
Omg how have they still not fixed this language ffs!
For tournaments, sng etc, The total buy-in is counted. So if you bought in for 10+1, then you have done 11 worth of playthrough.
For ring games, every buck you put into a pot is counted. This includes money bet into the pot but no one calls you.
So for example if you are playing $0.50/$1.00 no, and it folds to you in the small blind, and you ship all in pre for a hundred bucks, you have earned out a hundred bucks, whether or not that shove gets called.
Unfortunately global is thinking about casino stuff when they write their own out requirements and hasn't figured out how to make it so simple as what I have written here. Note that it took me about 10 emails back and forth with them to get the definition clarified into terms that made any sense when I was looking for this some time ago. Hope this helps
