My tables no longer auto-open when a tournament starts or even when I get switched tables. It used to work fine but now I have to make sure to go to the main menu and manually hit the "Go to table" button. I'm pretty sure I've missed a SNG or two when I registered and forgot about it since the table never opened. Has anyone experienced this issue and has a fix?

Pretty sure the closest thing they've ever had to a deposit bonus was when there was like a one-time offer where you got $20 sweeps for $10.

They are offering a free $60 if you deposit 2k. Other than that what the above poster said is all I've seen as well.

Hi, as far as I understand, usage of 3rd party software is not allowed on global.
I'd like to get a clarification, if it's ok that some software programs are open while playing on global? (not used to do anything on global) For example Holdem Manager (for having hud on another site) ? And what about equilab/flopzilla etc.?
Thanks!

is there any incentive to start new cash tables? Seems like tables are always full and no one sits at empty 6max tables in an effort to start a new one.

No incentive other than slightly lower rake HU/3 handed. They used to have almost full rake for HU. It is still high, but I mean it's a start at least. I've been making more of an effort to sit Mid-stakes HU PLO. Alot of min buyin players will try and play and there's only so much of that I can take with the rake as it is. Also, I suck at HU so against any competent reg I am losing...give me a better incentive and I'd be more willing to battle.

Why is there a big SC in front of my table balances now? It's very distracting, hope this is a glitch.

Assuming it is for legality purposes...annoying, but if the site needs this for legitimacy purposes then all good.

Ok, I am totally new to Global, and I have just one question:

I bought 10$ worth of gold coins (I guess?) to test out the site.

What is the difference between sweeps coins and gold coins, and which do I want?

Thanks

Gold coins is play money. You probably don't want that.

Sweeps cash is real money. You likely want that.

I bought $40 dollars worth of their Sweeps coins stuff, but then I read online this clause:

From here: https://globalpoker.com/docs/gp-term...ions-2.3.1.pdf

"
5.12. In accordance with the Sweeps Rules:
a. unless we require otherwise in accordance with clause 5.12(b), any Sweeps Coins allocated to you is only required
to be played once before it is eligible to become a Prize; and

b. we may, in our sole discretion, require that any Sweeps Coins allocated to you must be played a greater number
of times (not exceeding 20) in any combination of Sweepstakes Games before it is able to be redeemed as a
Prize.

"

They also have a few broken links on their website/web app which is a bit worrisome to me, gotta run a tight ship and fix things like that for professional presence.

But has anyone had them pull this 20x rollover stuff when they go to cashout if they just happen to feel like it? I honestly find the term a bit odd, and they really should be much more upfront about their requirements in the application itself rather than hidden away in an obscure section of this pdf TOS page IMO.

Plus I was reading the review over here:
https://professionalrakeback.com/global-poker-review

Which slightly concerns me too, but then reading here:
https://www.beatthefish.com/global-poker-review/

Makes it sound not so bad... So I honestly dunno what to expect out of this site, hopefully they end up being better than BetOnline and Bovada for me but the way they casually drop in that "we may throw in a 20x rollover on yah if we feel like it" bit is crazy. If anything I think it fair to maybe enforce withdrawable sweeps should be earned in the game sessions so you can't just buy and turnaround and immediately cashout.

Hoping for the best though, their verification process was fast and I have no complaints about the UI or in game experience really. Just wish they had a referral program and leveraged cryptocurrency for cashouts and deposits directly(with no Skrill intermediary). The easy CC purchase forms and Bank ACH is awesome too.

Sadly, they have thrown the 20x bs out several times. Some have got it reversed, but no rhyme or reason to it.

As far as the reviews, one was written by a large affiliate and Global has no arrangements like that, so more to dismay losing customers. Site is fine, payouts go through, albeit take several days. Field is not tough, and if you send in the empty envelopes, you do get a lot of SC and have to turn that over several times rypically.

Honest negatives, rake is high, no synchronized breaks across the network, CS is lost if there is an ACH problem, and they seem to have vacated this forum for the most part.

I feel like there is some rhyme or reason to it, but the people who are complaining about getting hit with the 20x aren't answering any reasonable questions to help the other people get to the bottom of it. It's very odd. I have a suspicion it has something to do with the envelopes people are mailing in, or some bonus whoring on the chumba side (if that's possible).

I know several personally. There are envelope people, kind of makes sense but should be told up front. I know someone that did not have anything to do with envelopes, some suggested winrates. I know it was dropped, but no clue of the trigger.

Really appreciate the feedback folks. I am trying for my first cashout of 50 dollars just to test the website before I go any further. Will report back here what happens, says to allow 5-10 days to process:

"
Success!
We have received your redemption request. Please allow 5-10 business days for your redemption to be processed and deposited into your account.
You can see the status of your redemption request in the history section.
"

Edit - I am not one of those that has tried the "envelope" thing, and I don't think I will ever get into that honestly. Mailing letters/envelopes is too old school for me hah.

Well so far so good on the cashout, it let me make the request and its now pending.

Very odd thing is that they say I am a multi-account user but I know for a fact I just registered there for the first time:

Anyone else gotten this from them? I literally have no clue as to why they would think I am a multi account. I have a static IP through my ISP and I have never played here before. I use brave browser which helps prevent cookie/tracking tools so maybe thats causing their webapp to freak out a bit? Idk but its def a false positive. Anyone else had them say they were a multi-account user when its their first time on the site at all lol?

With regards to my payout Victoria did send this before the ^ :

Update: They did reject my payout stating rollover requirements. These sorts of sites generally go on my blacklist but I will see where it goes. I don't appreciate hoops to get a cash out. Maybe they will change their mind but otherwise back to Bovada/BetOnline for me and I will get my money back.

Quote:
Hello jpj0916,

We are writing regarding your recent Prize redemption request.

Unfortunately, we have denied your prize redemption request amounting to SC50.00 because the play through requirement was not met. The funds are back on your balance.

Once the play-through requirement is met, you can request for another prize redemption and we will process it accordingly.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
Isabel
To which I replied:

Can you explain what my play through requirement is as the the purchasing of coins page never explicitly states nor does the website even talk about a live rollover in play or give any statistics on the website, and your TOS vaguely discusses rollover requirements on a "we feel like imposing it" basis up to 20x. Some player report having rollovers and some do not, sadly looks like I am joining an enforced rollover policy for a small request of 50 dollars.

Just curious, how much did you play on your deposit before asking for a cashout? Was it at least a 1x playthrough?

I used $40 dollars of credit buys, played up to $117(I suck at poker so thank god I didn't get stacked), tried cashing out. Technically I think they did give me a bonus on my first buy too for extra balance by a little(oh and I lost the welcome bonus of 20, I grew it to 36 and got stacked to 0), but its literally a withdraw for 50 dollars(to test if they pay before I waste more time here). If they haggle me over 50 dollars(Which mind you would make me a -10 profit for them if you look at me as an individual user buying their funny money) I can only imagine the torture they would put on a poker player with a X,XXX cashout balance lol...

Rollover requirements are standard on just about every single online poker site for obvious reasons. They really aren't that hard to hit. This site actually has some of the best history for cashouts on a US site. I've cashed out 4 figures 20+ times from this site without an issue as have multiple others as seen on the cashout thread.
12-04-2019 , 03:02 PM
Update, they are going to pay me, it was a 1x rollover play requirement, they told me I was like 2-3 dollars off from that when I tried to cashout due to bonuses but that I had met it now. So maybe this site isn't bad after all. I recommended to them they need to be transparent about the rollover and pending amounts etc in their UI so users are not so left in the dark. Waiting on my ACH deposit now!

Looking into getting a new computer, does anybody know if player notes will automatically transfer to new computer? Or are they stored on hard dive?
