The site isn't going to last very long now with PP and all. and I highly doubt their team is capable of adding mixed games even if they wanted to. But yeah, mix games would be a good addition.

I don't agree with horse or 8 game though. GP would be better off adding all the draw games and plo8 over anything else.

In your tournament lobby under the players tab scroll down beneath all the players and all the info is there.

I like Global Poker and would like to continue to play there. I would like an update on the cashout situation. Some time ago I cashed out for $100. I was required to send a copy of my driver's license and proof of address, which is acceptable.

I tried another cashout recently and found that I am also now required to provide a bank statement. Furthermore, I am required to provide the SWIFT/BIC code for the bank, something many US banks don't have (those that don't partner with larger banks that are part of the SWIFT network but the Global form isn't complete enough to deal with that). I will shortly be providing this information.

However, I am curious why this additional information is required. I am also curious if anyone else has cashed out since this new requirement. If Global is allowing cashouts, but in a way that will be tagged as suspicious international transactions by banks, and either rejected or filled only with extra work on the part of the player, this would be very inconvenient. Does anyone else have a comment on this?

They need a swift code and all that info because your cashouts are not "deposits" to your bank from the united states... They are WIRE TRANSFERS from AFRICA, actually... Search this site for "Mali" and you'll see. My bank verified that this is true. This is no longer a US based site for Americans... It's just like any other BS scam "Illegal" poker site now. Pretty sure Paypal and also the Authorities here caught up with them, so now they are "offshore" like are the rest. Good luck. I'm officially out, I don't do international banking of any kind, unless Paypal handles my money. I once bought electronics from China with my actual Debit card only to find it WIPED OUT the next day and traced back to an employee of said site. Never again.

You received a wore from Africa?

not sure best place to ask these questions...

Is there a way to display dealer chat (like the actions players take within a hand) on global? I can't find it anywhere.

With the browser based HHs, players are just identified as numbers, so it looks like you can make a note on the player number, but does that note go to the actual player or does it just go nowhere?

If anyone feels the generosity to answer, thanks in advance

If you make the tables too small the dealer chat disappears. There’s a tab that says “dealer”. If u click on the player themselves you can make notes. No idea about within the HH.

Thanks for the response Apex.
I meant that the dealer chat won't show "Seat 1 raises" "Seat 2 calls" like there's no dealer chat other than "Hand started" (link to browser based HH)
Results of hand

but I didn't know if there was some setting to actually show what is typically referred to as "dealer chat"

It would require going pretty far back in the threads but the "dealer chat" you refer to was removed over concerns of HUDs. The idea being it was easier for them to capture the text of what happened as opposed to the animation.

Not looking for a debate from anyone about this being a good or bad decisions. Believe me, that all already happened, just go back and look. I am just stating why that particular feature seems to be missing, and can't be turned on with a hidden checkbox somewhere deep in settings.

No, Global took that away at least 6 months ago. It used to be there. I think the speculation was it was taken away so hand histories couldn't be scraped.

You can click on the hand number and it will open a player in a separate tab/window and you can replay the hand and see all of the action. You can even save the replay like this one (I suck btw). https://play.globalpoker.com/poker-c...4b051d29658435

Where do we see how many rebuys and addons there are in a mtt?

I can't find that anywhere and if it's not in the client this really needs to be added for integrity purposes.

Meaning how many total rebuys and addons there are for everyone that is playing in a particular tournament?

I don't think that it does. Normally I do some quick math and the numbers haven't not come out correctly.

I guess I don't follow though, why this would be a game integrity thing. I agree it should be something that is there, but I wouldn't see it as making things more or less legit based on it's presence. If a thing is there showing the total prize pool, and another that shows number of add-ons and re-entries, couldn't Global (or any poker site) just lie about both numbers so that they match?

Maybe I missed your point, it happens to me sometimes. Feel free to elaborate. For what it is worth, I agree that counter should be there, just not for game integrity reasons.

From what we've seen in online poker over the years every site should be upfront with us. We can't just "take their word for it" so when it comes to the total number of rebuys/addons it should be disclosed in each tournaments lobby. By showing this is proves more to the players that we are seeing the right amount and also shows us approximately how many people are buying in/adding on ,etc...

You can mess with some final table math adding all the chips in play but without knowing the total addons if it's a 3k addon vs a 2k one where you start with 2k then it's a little strange to figure out.

Perhaps integrity wasn't the proper word to use but I think this is something that should be revealed to us.

What is the reasoning for not allowing hand histories to be downloaded?

Dig through and search the threads for all of the details, but the TLDR is to protect players. Not going to debate the issue with you here, the debate has already happened, go read those responses and see if you come up with any new ideas and if you do, present those for the case you are trying to make.

Our initial focus is on the US, “the home of Poker” and Canada, but we intend to expand globally very soon, making Global Poker truly Global!

This is taken from the following page

https://globalpoker.com/page/faq

So at this point I would say not, but hopefully it will expand out to the land down under. I used to play poker with some people down there and they were always great fun at the table.
