I am astonished by all the trolls on this forum who just bash and critique my dubious mistake (which Im well aware of) instead of offering advice and insight like yourself. (even with your snarky remarks - "Couldnt read the screen correctly.") - Swan comments like that are not necessary and don't make you any cooler than you already are.
Tone lost in digital conversation, I can be very blunt when I want to be a dick. Wasn't meant the way it came across....

I seriously doubt they would screw you for the money based on the fact they have pretty much taken care of everyone else with the same issue. They're good people, but not very allegiant to the forum it seems.

Has anyone had their tables randomly close? I'm just running 6 tables (windowed) and there will be one instance where a table just disappears. There will be other instances where the one hour popup shows up and when I continue playing, it will close a table.

I think my tone may have been lost as well. I was just saying in my experience as an old man, with customer service in pretty much any company these days you often have to reply to the initial boilerplate response so that the first-line rep escalates it to someone who can actually fix the problem. First-line reps spend most of their time dealing with user error and explaining what happened.

I would have replied once they told you that they saw the gold coins, politely saying you thought you were buying sweeps cash not just gold coins and you're shocked to see that the $750 package didn't come with sweeps cash and can they reverse the transaction so you can buy a package with sweeps cash. It's my experience that with most companies it takes two or three tries before you reach someone who has the power to do anything except tell you what you did wrong. One dispute with Sprint took eight tries and an email to the CEO, but ultimately I got it resolved.

As others have said, once you file with PayPal I suppose their hands are pretty much tied until that process is complete. If it were me I would apologize for panicking and confirm that if you cancel the claim they will refund the transaction. I do understand how you feel. I had an interaction recently with a health insurance company where three or four different parties (including me) all made small mistakes but the result was a potential thousands of dollars I might have to pay. It took a lot of patience and I finally got it resolved but I lost sleep over it, partly because I knew I had contributed to the error.

As others have said, it seems like they are willing to fix this particular issue if you are polite and persistent and I hope it is resolved quickly in your favor.

Sorry about your negative experience with Global customer service.

I've never dealt with Global customer service personally, but after many months of participating in this forum, there are almost no cases that I can think of where a satisfactory resolution to a problem wasn't reached.

Hope you get your money back, soon.

I made a small $100 to test the site out and after messing around I decided I was going to give it a go and put on a bigger amount ($300). I cannot deposit now and keep getting a HTTP Status 4040 warning where it was declined and then I see this in quotes on the paypal site.

"Sorry, but your Visa x-xxxx was declined. You can complete your purchase with the payment method selected, or choose another way to pay."

I have money in my account so this shouldn't be happening. Is this possibly a Visa issue or? I don't have a 2nd card I can use to deposit so I am curious on if I wanted to play how I would get money on there. Thoughts?

If you have money in your paypal account and that's the payment method you have selected than your Visa x-xxxx should not even be a factor. Check your paypal settings. The few times I deposited I just used my bank account that I have linked to paypal as the payment method. Some people say this only works for them and others say paying through paypal with credit card selected only works for them. (I was no help I know)

The only time my tables randomly close is when I accidentally click the "Fold" button in a checked pot.

When accidentally clicking fold instead of check, a pop-up asks if I really want to "fold or check?". If I click "check", it sometimes leads to another table randomly closing out(totally random, and never the one I clicked the "cancel fold / just check option" on). This has been a bug since I started playing here a year ago. I've mentioned it before on 2p2, and their Rep asked that I send HHs, but I'm too busy with multiple tables to click their crappy HH links.

^^ THIS. So annoying. I think a temporary solution is to just fold instead of cancel and I haven't had the table close. Better to lose my BB than a table shutting down I guess.

This is the solution I employ until they fix the bug.

The players who show up at cash tables and end up with huge winnings by playing trash and catching the cards they need to win would indicate this is Cereus Poker all over again.

Superusers can see what will be dealt, what the opponents have, and just scoop the pots they get involved in.

When and if the superusers are exposed and plead "it's my houseguests' fault. I knew nothing....nothing", I won't believe it this time either.

I don't have money in there, it just pulls it from my checking account via the card. I thought it was just odd that it worked the first time, but not the second time when it was the same process.

I have just made the same mistake yesterday. In my rush to buy chips i didn't notice that it didn't include sweeps cash. Researching online I was directed to this thread. I emailed support and pmed their rep here yesterday and I haven't heard a peep. Naturally I'm concerned, the fact that they have resolved it for people in the past notwithstanding
05-02-2018 , 09:59 PM
Has anyone else noticed that their account balance is off?

None of the buyins from the tables that I closed have been credited to my account balance and it's been more than 30 min.

Sorry to hear bro. Not to worry, I made the mistake and they refunded me. Send an email to support and politely tell them that you mistakenly purchased the package and didnt realize it didnt have $weepscash. They should refund within a few days...

been trying to deposit for a while keep getting the following message:

HTTP Status 404 – Not Found
Type Status Report

Message /payments/null/INSTRUMENT_DECLINED

Description The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists.

Apache Tomcat/8.5.20

and yeah. can't complete the purchases idk.

edit-- this is taking place after i've signed into global, selected the amount of gold coins i wish to purchase, am transfered to paypal, sign in and confirm the purchase, am redirected back to global and get this message 100% of the time.

i never use paypal, have never used paypal . just recently rediscovered an account i made 6 years ago and not used since (lol) and added payment method. maybe i did or did not do something in that regard that may have affected this, no phone number i can find tho to call global n ask

new edit

seeing there are similar comments prior.. don't really see any solutions tho and i've chagned settings a few ways in paypal and keep getting the error. will try the bank account thing instead of the debit card i guess

Last night: Balance updates take an hour+. Again.

Tonight: No sound. Again.

I hope you guys are getting one hell of a deal on this software you're licensing. Because it's loaded with bugs and problems that never get fixed. Or addressed. Or acknowledged in any way. Ever. No matter how many people ***** about them. And you still have one of the highest rakes in the industry.

The software bugs and glitches are why I haven't made a deposit here yet. Are the games really so soft that it justifies dealing with horrific technology? How do they compare to BetOnline and Ignition games? (micro and low stakes cash)

are any GP reps reading any of this or participating on the forum at all? Haven't seen anything from them for a week and a half and there are clearly some issues that people would like feedback on or assistance with. Perhaps Bobo could reach out to them to get a status update or post one if he has info?

For those having trouble with sound - try using a different browser. I was using Google Chrome and switched to Microsoft Edge and that seemed to do it.

Of course they're reading every single word of this. But some genius in management has adopted the brilliant PR strategy of pretending there are no problems or complaints, which of course just pisses off everybody even more. It's one of the crappiest and stupidest approaches to customer relations, but tons of companies constantly do it anyway. I think it might be a core course in bottom tier business schools: "How to alienate and annoy those who pay you money by never treating them like actual people who deserve explanations for your obvious shortcomings".

Despite their software bugs and glitches, their interface seems much smoother and faster than Ignition.

I've just made my first deposit on Ignition a few days ago and their software is driving me nuts.

The pots on average seem bigger at Global too.

Ya i hear and +1 to all of that. I do find it strange that there's not been much Bobo besides him and Monteroy having their fun in the rng thread. Bobo is paid by 2+2 for handling the paid for "advertising" subforums last I heard maybe thats no longer the case. If so I surely wouldnt be upset lol. Only problem imo is I have no idea who would be better for the job or even want to do it. And dont tell me to take it to the ATF area, if mods or reps would have posted here in the last week this wouldn't be of concern or worth pointing out to me.
