That is what I just did. I don't use PayPal much, and thought you HAD to link a debit/credit card or bank account. Thanks, and thanks to all who replied

Do you have to play only from within the US or can you play while you're traveling outside of the country etc?

Hopefully I can get an answer to this question. I have heaps of WA players asking me about the site and I don't want to endorse it if the sweeps cash model is still against state law.

Hello, I am interested in cashing out but i haven't verified myself yet. My utility bill is in my roommate's name. Can I use something else like a medical bill to substitute for that? Thanks

You can play from anywhere, you just can't swap Sweeps cash for US currency unless you live in the US and can prove as such.

This should be fine. Just explain the situation when you verify and support will work with you to find the right solution.

Can you answer my WA state question please? I have been waiting very anxiously for days now.

Hi TheDarkKnight, apologies for the delay.

I can confirm that people from WA are fine to cash out via PayPal from GlobalPoker!

I feel like I need more of a thorough explanation of how it bypasses state law if I'm going to convince risk averse folks into signing up.

It doesn't bypass state law. It is in line with WA Sweepstakes law.

If anyone is requiring more information you can send them to this page.

Thanks for your support.

How do you find the sweepscash, cash games? All I'm seeing are the gold coin cash games which is basically play money right?

WPNdonk, someone answered you in another thread and for the sake of those who come after, look at the top of the screen once you are the lobby page. One thing says "Gold Coins" and another says "$weeps Cash" click this second button.

In the future please refrain from posting your same question in multiple threads. Pick the one that makes the most sense and leave your question there. If from there it has been missed feel free to "bump" it or ask the question again in the same thread.

See you at the tables!

Back in May I attempted my first withdrawal of $50. I scanned and sent my ID docs to global poker support. The status just stayed on "awaiting approval" for nearly a month even after multiple emails with no response. When my account balance got down close to nothing I just decided that I might as well just cancel withdrawal and play with it. I cashed in a tourney last night and decided to try withdrawal again - and again it's asking for the docs. Anyone know how I can make sure it goes thru this time? I sent the docs to the email address the doc request came from (support@globalpoker.com). Is there something I'm missing? Is there another way to contact them like a phone#?

PM the rep on these forums although you probably can't due to your low post count. They check this thread fairly regularly though so maybe just post your username in this thread and they should help.

I agree with Rutledge and you should post your screen name up here. If I don't see a response this evening I will send a PM along with your screen name to them. But they tend to be pretty good about looking at these forums about these kinds of things.

I noticed there are "Avatars in my inventory" that I can now choose from.

When I go to "Items" there are four categories.

I have an extra avatar in "Equipped Items" and "Extra Avatars".

These are avatars that I cannot purchase with coins.

Is there a list of other avatars that I cannot see along with what I need to do to get them?

Thanks!

As far as I have seen there are 3 extra you can get. A computer nerd (my personal fav and what I play as), a pirate who seems to identify as female, and a pirate who seems to identify as male. I believe I unlocked them by seeing enough flops in the $weeps cash games, but I really don't know exactly when I did that as it was a few months ago now. Just one day at the top right hand corner it popped up saying I had unlocked something. When I looked one new one had shown up. And kept playing and another, and then finally the nerd showed up last.

Screen name is same as here "Sheetguy". I'm new to ********* as I just found it when googling global poker withdrawal. Also although I ended up cancelling my first withdrawal, I'm wondering if they would still have docs I sent on file so I don't need to scan and send new ones

Hey Sheetguy,

I just checked with Customer Support and they haven't received any emails from you.

Can you please email in again and put ATT:NICK in the subject, he is waiting to hear from you.

Given they haven't heard from you I am wondering if there is an issue with your email provider. It is tough to know as you can't PM (I would advise against sharing your email address here - unless you want to).

If it is Comcast for example this may be part of the problem as they have had troubles in the past.

If you have a Gmail account or something similar please email through from that, even if it isn't your registered email, they can verify that and change it for you if there is a problem with your provider.

Hope this helps

I just forwarded the email with my ID docs from first withdrawal attempt and put ATTN:NICK in subject. It is from the same yahoo email as registered on the site. It was sent originally on June 1. I then sent follow ups on June 5 and June 15. Would be nice if this can be verified for my most recent withdrawal attempt yesterday and going forward.

I had the worst experience in the world with PayPal and FINALLY got the ability to deposit funds. I deposit some funds onto my account and haven't played a hand yet and global poker "blocked" my account. Also seems impossible to get an email response from global support. Unbelievable.

Just got my second cash out confirmed which was a generous amount of money. Approved just as fast as my $100 trial cash out. I love Global Poker.
