To be fair, its not as horrible as the hyperbole may suggest. The cash-outs are nearly instant for crypto, which is a major plus. They also had a redeposit bonus match of 100% which is what got me to fire there.
In the past week i played like 10k hands there across PLO 50-200. The player pool is small, and the regulars are very very tight. You do get your occasional punter, usually someone that is coming from the casino (they have a contest leaderboard for 3 card casino poker or other casino games, so you can see the crossover). But they either go on a heater, or fizzle out quickly. Then its the same 10/8 boring ass regs waiting for cooler spots. They aren't super stars, but they also aren't taking any high variance spots, or doing anything interesting, pretty much ever.
The existence of stables/mafias is also a negative for me. It wouldn't be so bad if there were more players, but because of the smaller fields, they will prey upon the low hanging fruit pretty quickly. Tough to beat a 6max table, where 3 of the 6 aren't necessarily colluding, but have an interest in not going hard on each other. Kills the action a ton.
To end on a positive, they have straddle tables where you can double/triple straddle and buy-in for 150bb which is pretty cool. ACR has bomb pots which is another fun feature that I have to give them credit for.
