Choose "Use the following DNS server addresses" and set the preferred DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and alternate server to 8.8.4.4

Please let us know if this works.

Oh yes, cash out and make a new account, not "transfer" sweeps cash to new account. I like that. But if old account is not wiped clean we could be called "Multi accounters" (lol) and be BANNED!! This is why we cant have nice things. By the way ADMIN, my Global name is Morphine Drip so you can associate it with all my posts here.

It seems we are down to about 10 people having log in problems. 5 complaining on Global Poker Facebook page and 5 here on 2+2.

you can be sure to multiply this by some unknown number to find the actual amount effected.

i know ive said it numerous times, but the fact that there is no coordinated response to this is really sad and alarming. i know it may be a small number effected, but imagine if YOUR cash was in there and you needed it? by now there should be a company policy regarding those effected, and they should be working as their #1 priority to get these people either back online or transferred to new accounts. the fact that they seem to just be ignoring this makes me worried that if some other larger thing happened or something happened that effected me personally, they would just ignore that as well!

You are so right 100%. And sad that my direct messages to them, the one where I get a ticket number for the matter, all seem like pre-filled responses. I go into detail what I have done relating to settings etc. and they don't even acknowledge it. Most recent reply from them said to change my DNS settings (I already told them I have done this) or if I don't know how to all will be fixed in 24 hours. We shall see. And if you noticed, we are all getting the EXACT same emails from support, word for word cut and paste replies which worries me even more. They completely overlooked at my solution of allowing us to transfer our funds into a new account and delete our old ones

i think its gg for gp guys, i also called it way before bf, when ftp started the multi entries i knew it was a done deal. I think they're in suck as much out as they can before impending doom sets in, something must have happened cuz they pulled a lot of shenanigans real quick and none were good for players.

They might as well scrap the whole winners package for the eagle series too since such a large percentage of the player pool has been shut out for so much of it. GP is looking super foolish and incompetent and not worth my time or rake after the recent sng changes and the conn issues while a series is running, the writing is on the wall guys

Its a true shame when their support replies "It will just fix itself in a few days"!!

My solution would be to hire an Tech Person who knows what he or she is doing before the apply the so called upgrade!

I couldn't have said it better myself. Im just chalking up this one as a loss and going back to Carbon because it's been 5 days, same cookie cutter replies from support and no real help from anyone at global on how to resolve this issue. Claiming it will fix itself in a few days is an excuse and totally unacceptable

I can't login either. I e-mailed CS and received instructions on changing DNS server address. I made the changes but the problem continued. So I'm stuck.

I play for fun, not as serious as some. I truly feel for those that have been working hard in the Eagles series, to get ham strung by this event.

PLEASE ADMIN...Auto cash me out to Pay Pal, close/wipe my account so I can start a new one and re-deposit. When I get notified by Pay Pal my money is in there I will know to start a new account. Screen name Morphine Drip.

Hi Andrew,

Good day!

We do apologize but you are not allowed to create another account where you can transfer funds from your original account as that is a violation of the Terms Of Use. Item*#4*of the Terms Of Use states that:

4. "Customers are only allowed to register one account with Global Poker. If discovered that multiple accounts have been registered by a customer, VGW reserves the right to terminate all such accounts at its discretion."

The DNS server settings can't have anything to do with the problem it seems. I have tried to log in from 3 different cell phone carriers AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. Not connected to my home wi-fi. Still same invalid e-mail/password message.

For anyone having this issue, it is fixed easily by switching to Google's DNS servers.

Go into Network & Internet > Network Connections > Right click your connection, mine is Ethernet > Properties > Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" > Select Properties > At the bottom select the radio field button that says "Use the following DNS server addreses" > Type in these DNS server addresses; "Preferred DNS server: 8.8.8.8" "Alternate DNS server: 8.8.4.4" > Click validate settings upon exit then click okay > shut down all windows and reload browser > vuala!

This works for more than just this issue. I use Googles DNS servers because they are usually better/faster than your ISPs DNS servers. Doing this will also help with issues on Twitch that I have noticed in the past as well.

If you read this whole thread you will see that this does not work for everyone including me. Voila As I stated I also can not log in using cell phones.
