Deposit Bonus Withdrawal Question Deposit Bonus Withdrawal Question

06-11-2023 , 09:43 PM
Hi all, I am new to Global Poker and have received a few deposit bonuses in the past couple of weeks. I have deposited, received the bonus sweeps and been playing just fine. However, I have just received another one (deposit $15 for 40 sweeps) and I am wondering what is stopping me from depositing the $15 and just turning around and instantly withdrawing the bonus sweeps. I'm assuming there should be some playthrough requirement, however, I can't seem to find this specified anywhere (I am probably not looking good enough). Just wondering if someone knows the answer to this. Thanks!

Thanks! Does this mean if I play 6max NLHE and bet 100% of my deposit throughout my hands I'll be all good to go to withdraw?

Yes, but keep in mind your bet also has to be called or raised to count as "played through". Correct me if I'm wrong, but If u go all in preflop and no1 calls, then the chips you go all in with does not count towards your playthrough.

The TOS says 1x is the play through requirement but personally, I would play it through 2x or 3x and wait a week or 2 before requesting a cash out of any bonus SC... just to be safe.

IDK.... I could be wrong...any1 know for sure?

Thanks this makes sense and I'll try to follow those suggestions. It doesn't seem like it, but is there any way to verify play through has been achieved?

Not real easy in cash games unless you track your buyins and results which you should do for many reasons. If you play tournaments it’s easy to keep track of your total buyins. If you try and cash out before you play through your deposit it will be denied and they will give you the reason. Depending on the employee they will sometimes tell you how much you have left to play through but I wouldn’t expect this. Usually just a general email with not many details

Great thank you and very helpful! I've been keeping track off cash game results, so that should help! Thanks again!

There is one way to get a rough conservative estimate of how much you have played in cash games. That is by using the amount in your Vault. This is a rakeback, and gives you back 30% of the rake you have paid. Since the rake is approximately 5% (I say approximately, because some hands might reach the cap and therefore be less than 5%) you can take the amount in your vault and divide by .05 and again by .30. This will be a low estimate, but at least give you a good guess at how much you have wagered in raked hands (hands that end preflop are not raked).

That seems like a pretty good offer - 40SC for $15. I never get offers like that.

I don't know for sure, it is my understanding the TOC say bet maybe wager, I don't think being called is a requirement. I could be absolutely wrong but it explains a lot of the snap shoves, they get fold equity and if called and lose, they still cleared bonus money, if called a win they just won and cleared bonus money.

Some time ago I actually asked support about this, and they confirmed that a bet had to be called in order to qualify. I won't say that it is necessarily true, but it certainly is what they told me.
