I had been away the past 10 days, but today during my afternoon session normal regs were missing, and 3-5 new regs had popped up that I had never seen before. I know it is a small sample size, but you wonder how easy it is to get a bot up and running.
Maybe it is time to change some of the authentication processes? Most of us players would be willing to have a discussion on ways to counteract the bots.
Also can you have Paypal take any action on this? It's one thing to setup a dummy poker account, but moving large funds on Paypal is way more difficult. Setting up bank accounts, verifying those accounts with SS numbers. You would have to imagine most of the money is being diverted from the dummy accounts to one or two Paypal accounts. This isn't a bitcoin site, you guys have access to legitimate paper trails. Find those accounts and Paypal can take care of the rest.
This could work in theory if Global was actually partnered with PayPal as they claim. Unfortunately, the reality is they’re just as scummy as the bots and are lying about their partnership and abusing PayPal and tricking them. When anyone opens a dispute with PayPal , Global is defending it by creating fake shipment tracking and sending it to PayPal to fight the dispute. Pretty odd thing to do for a company your partnered with...sending fake shipment tracking for a digital product? hmmmmm....
Dear xxxxxx,
Your seller has provided shipment tracking information in response to your claim. We used the shipping company's online tracking service and found that it confirms delivery of the merchandise. As a result, this case has been closed.
