Just was curious on steps Global poker takes in regards to multi player/collusion/VPNs in order to maintain game integrity. I’m always amazed and curious when players blatantly post and tag GP on Twitter where there is an obvious conflict of interest

Please note that at Global Poker we have a number of proactive measures to monitor both strategic and technical aspects of players playing the game in order to identify collusion, chip dumping, or other incidents that might potentially affect the integrity of our games. We have a dedicated game integrity team that is working closely with technical departments every day to ensure the integrity of our games.

We see collusion as coordinated team play, a systematic effort to gain a strategic (and unfair) advantage over opponents. We take this very seriously but at the same time, we presume innocence until proven otherwise.

The screenshot above by itself does not reveal collusion simply because there is no evidence of shared strategy, team play, or even that the two players from the same location ended up on the same table. To claim otherwise, we would need to review the gameplay itself. It may put your mind at ease knowing that we do review the final stages of tournaments with all cards face up, including technical aspects of players to confirm that nothing inappropriate took place.

Furthermore, we review all reports we receive from our vigilant players who suspect that something inappropriate occurred at the tables.
