Customer service on this site is terrible. I recently deposited and am requesting a withdrawal of $60 after raking at least $50 or more. I have been in the process of verifying a withdrawal. I sent them my passport, which they accepted, and I explained that I don't have any monthly bills in my name. They said to send pay stubs showing my address, I did. My pay stubs are only available online (even my tax forms) and they said that for this to be valid it needs to be signed by a payroll officer (whatever that means...). I then sent them many other financial forms that have been mailed to me including my recent tax return that came to me at the end of March. This wasn't acceptable either. They ask for bank statements, but my statements are only online and don't show my address on them. I have given them more than enough info, including my drivers licence (which states my name and address) and licence receipts, more than enough to have my identity stolen, and don't feel comfortable sending anything else at this point.

Customer service keeps asking for a monthly bill in my name, which I don't have. When PokerStars verified me, they were fine with what I had available. I have shown Global enough beyond a reasonable doubt to show that I reside at my stated address. I have not broken any terms of service and don't think that just because I'm a 26 year old man-child that moved back into his moms house I should be denied verification.

I was never out of line or belligerent with Global customer service reps, and all I keep getting is the same generic email replied from a different rep each time.

I haven't experienced such bull**** getting verified on a poker site before.

No cell phone bill you can get printed out? No bills at ALL in your name? Or surely you can go to the bank and get some sort of statement from them to show your address? Drivers license?

If not, I dunno what to say. It's the price of being a man-child I suppose, not many other people are having problems.

No I don't have a monthly phone bill. I already sent my drivers license that wasn't accepted as they need a "secondary document". I'm pretty sure at this point even if I got something from my bank showing my address on it (I sent them a screenshot of my online account profile showing my address that wasn't accepted) they would say it's not acceptable because it's not a monthly recurrence I receive.

My main point is that other poker sites like 888 and pokerstars have accepted what I have, like my pay stubs. What makes global think that their verification security is better than pokerstars? I feel like I have proven my address far beyond a reasonable doubt.

All of this sounds completely ridiculous. Why are you sending screen shots of your banking information and nothing the actual PDF or word doc attachment?

I get my statements online. My online statements don't show my address attached to it for some reason.

Again, what really sounds ridiculous is that the larger sites have no problem with what I have, but this cockroach of a site tries to act more legitimate than them.

Bro, every online banking website allows you to download your statements in full as you'd receive via postal mail. Every single one of them

Why would a bank statement prove more than a tax return or pay stubs?

I've had a successful cashout in the past. I played a couple sessions over the weekend and tried to cashout a portion of the bankroll and got the same message as a couple others:

"Dear Jason,

Thank you for contacting Global Poker Customer Service Support.

Please be informed that your cash out request of $xxx was denied because you will need to play through a total of at least 100% of your recent purchase before you can cash out. Once the play through requirement is met, you can request for another cash out and we will processed it accordingly.

Thank you for your understanding.

Kind Regards,
Arci"

I multitabled for somewhere around 10 hours over the two sessions and wagered substantially more than the deposit amount in that time, so the playthrough isn't anywhere near just one hour as another poster claimed earlier. I emailed support asking for some clarification on what a %100 playthrough entails...

I don't see any obvious way to close my account. I sent them an email but wtf.

Just realized this site probably can't support "responsible gaming" because it doesn't consider itself a gambling website. This site is gonna get shutdown in the US one way or another.

I received a response about the play through requirement:

"Dear Jason,

Thank you for contacting Global Poker Customer Service Support.

We apologize for having a confusion about our wagering requirements. Please be informed that we are counting the wagered plays from your latest purchase. For example you purchase twice within one day, one in the morning around 6:00 AM amounting to 300$ package and played for all of if but lose, then you purchase again amounting 100$ then you win in our tournament but the reserve buy in for that is only 55$, you will then need to wager the remaining 45$ before we can proceed processing your cash out request.

I hope the above information helps. Should you be needing any further assistance, please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards,
Cassi"

As per this explanation, my play through should be much higher than %100. I wagered much more than the deposit amounts after each deposit. Either there's an issue with how they tracked my wagers or I'm being flat out lied to about what a %100 play through means. I put in another withdrawal request, so here's to hoping this one goes through.

They have no reason to lie to you or want to withhold your withdraw, they do fine with rake. They are saying that you only played a $55 tournament after you $100 deposit so why don't you just tell them what you played after the $100 deposit. Maybe they just missed something or your accounting is off, either way shouldn't be a big deal, just play 4 x $15 sngs or something or lower buyin if you really want to reduce the variance.

I only played ring games, not tournaments. That $55 thing was a hypothetical situation made up by the support rep to try to explain what a 100% play through meant.

In any case, it took three tries, but the withdrawal finally went through. The ring game hand number on my profile updated as well. I played somewhere around 6-7k hands after the deposits and had bet many, many times the total of the deposit.

I am having a horrible time trying to get verified. I spent all day long yesterday working on this. At first, after sending my documentation, global started talking to me about a registered email. I always signed in with Facebook, so I didn't have one. After getting that straight, they said problem solved. I asked what about my cash out. They acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. Like they never even seem my documentation. Due to this, I started a new email with my documentation and details about my cash out. The response was that the picture of myvl Id was not clear enough and my letter had to be out side the envelope. Please not that at this time I had no idea what they wanted as a second form of id. I had been proactive with sending documentation and had not been sent their letter about it. The picture of my Id was clear as day and could be read, but I took another one that looked just the same as well as pictures of my mail outside of envelope. I then got a response saying my Id had been accepted but the letter was not. I was given a list of acceptable things to use. One was a vehicular registration. I then sent pictures of that. I did that at about 2pm yesterday. Despite many attempt through emails, I have not heard anything back at all since then from global. One thing that really pisses me off is that they damn sure take our deposits in a heart beat, but when we want out money, we have to go through this. I am beyond frustrated and borderline fuming mad at this point. I like playing poker at global but seriously doubt now that I ever will again. In feels like I'm being ignored and the they are stalling with my cash out at this point. I sent a new email at 5 am this morning with all documentation and info about cash out. It is now 11am and I have received no response. Yesterday they were responding in no less than 2 hours and now that I have done everything they ask, i can get no response. Horrible customer service. Globalpoker_Joey.... can you help me. I'm close to finding every poker forum i can and tell this story to everyone.

I started playing poker on Global for the first time a few hours ago. I promptly bought in with $10. Gave me some Gold Coins. Now, weirdly enough, I couldn't find the cash-out icon anywhere on the site. Now, I jumped into the 400k guarantee and won that tourney. It gave me like 150k or so Gold Coins. Now what can I use these for? Do they turn into Cash? If so, how? How do I win Sweeps Cash on the site?

Gold Coins have no cash value, when you bought the $10 package you were given $10 in sweeps cash. That's where you can play for real money. You need to hit the switch currency button

I am having a specific cashout issue and just wanted to know what you guys think, or if maybe a representative of Global Poker could help me out with it.

I requested a cashout 2 days ago and submitted my Passport and Bank statement, the statement went through but my Passport was not accepted. My Passport is not from the united stated but from a country of europe. I reside in the united states with a valid VISA and live here legally although still having the nationality of my home country. I tried to validate my person through sending additional documents in form of a visa scan but they wont accept it. It does not make any sense to me because the passport is a globally valid document and I did send enough proof to confirm my persona.

Does anybody have a idea what to do , otherwise I suppose will have to get a drivers license issued in the united states or something.

It would probably be useful to get a State ID or driver's license for a variety of purposes. A long time ago I got kicked out of a pizza place because my date only had a passport, which they didn't like.
