Hi xxxxxx,

Good day! We hope this email finds you well.

Please be informed that your cash out request of $xxx.xx was denied because you will need to wager first a total of at least 100% of your recent purchase before you can cash out. Once the play through requirement is met, you can request for another cash out and we will process it accordingly.

Thank you for your understanding.
Regards,
Domelle"

Yes I replaced my real amounts with xxx and replaced my name with xxx's because i find that personal information. Besides that nothing has been altered.
Yep, this is what I was talking about that I have seen from other players as well. There is a play through requirement, but how that is achieved, and exactly how you can play through remains a bit of a mystery.

My understanding from other players is you can also ask support how far along you are in your play through requirements.

I can't speak to the over $10k crowd, I am sure PayPal has rules about that, but I haven't run into them or spent any time researching them, so I will leave that to the other sickos who play at those kinds of stakes.

However I will say that so far (and it has been going more than a year now) Global has been just fine with PayPal. I think one of the big reasons is they have the Sweepstakes laws to work with, and PayPal won't be denying funds transferred from people who won sweepstakes.

Fun fact, Global has a sister site called Chumba Casino, who ALSO cashes people out with PayPal.

https://www.chumbacasino.com/

I would think if PayPal were going to go after something for gambling, the casino site would be much more likely to be a target than Global Poker.

I will also tell you, I would think you very wise to not put more money into Global than you would be okay with losing. That is a different amount for everyone of course, and I personally believe Global will be around for a while. I in fact have a bet on it with another 2+2 member. But I still wouldn't keep any more money than necessary on Global. Unnecessary risk is still unnecessary risk. I have given that advice since I started posting here.

Joey said he hit you up, did you ever get his messages?
02-20-2018 , 10:24 AM
My request was denied due to no verification docs. This isn’t the case. I bet I’ve sent 20 emails with the verification documents.
02-20-2018 , 10:33 AM
Ok. I just requested again and Global Poker sent me the id request. I replied to the email asking for verification with a picture of my license and cable bill. The pictures are super clear.

Joey, is Global Poker not receiving my emails?

Still waiting on cashout to be approved. Usually this would be done by now. My username is crescentcityking

Cashout approved. Mustve seen my post

Yeah, I've had no response whatsoever to my verification documents yet - any help?

But customer support did contact me pretty quickly when I asked how to unlock the Reaper avatar (except they didn't give me a straight up answer and said I must meet the requirements, without stating the requirements lol).

PM Joey on here, that seems to help and others have mentioned hitting them up on their Facebook page

Someone please help me. I think these guys are crooks now.

I have sent them everything exactly as they asked for it to verify me. I sent both front and back of my drivers license and a copy of my pay statement which shows my current address. They wrote me back saying pay statement is only secondary support and it is not good enough.

Quote:

2. Proof of address - this can be any of the following: utility bill, notarized agreement form for a lease, bank statements, medical insurance or a computer generated Payroll document. (Please ensure we can see clearly the issue date of the document, the name of the company that the document is from and the document has been issued within 3 months)

In order for us to process your verification quickly, please ensure you send us clear, current copies of your documents. We will advise once your verification has been approved. We are currently experiencing high volume of customer service requests and our verification process is taking up to 5 days to process. We are working hard to get to your verification approved and your cashout paid.

Should you have any questions, please contact our friendly customer service team at support@globalpoker.com and we'll be glad to assist you anytime.

These guys are taking 48 hours sometimes to respond to verification. What the hell is going on over there...
02-20-2018 , 04:08 PM
send them a bank statement and white out everything other than the address pretty much. I was unaware they even accepted payroll as proof of address but verification shouldn't be a problem and never has been for legit players in the USA. It will get sorted if everything's on the up and up. They have had a big traffic increase recently and have been growing fast ever since they opened.
02-20-2018 , 04:26 PM
I didn't know they took payroll checks either. And it's a recent statement within the last 3 months like their list says? If so, strange they wouldn't accept it.

EDIT: I looked on their website, according to the FAQ there a payroll statement isn't on the list. If their cashier email said it was accepted, that is indeed poor communication.

Suggest you send them something else on the list OP. And, kudos to you for choosing this thread title instead of something like "Global Poker are crooks" or some such other unsubstantiated name calling. I'll paste from the FAQ but you can find this on their website as well, send them one of these and they'll get it sorted. This is only a first time shot, future cash outs will be smooth once verified. Welcome to the forums!

They're not crooks just because they wouldn't accept your document. Just send them another proof of address. When I did this with another poker site, I sent literally one of everything on their accepted list so there is no way they would give me a hard time. Recommend doing the same.

Yo, thanks for help - who's Joey? I'll send him a PM.
02-20-2018 , 06:25 PM
Sent in driver's license with previous address from another state & current utility bill on 2/19. Received email about 7 hours later it's "secure".

Made withdrawal request on 2/20 in the AM, received email 6 hours later it's been approved.

Pretty seamless transaction if you follow the rules, don't open up multiple accounts, and have patience.

I'l assume the money will be in my PayPal account sometime on 2/21 but wanted to share another success story.

Well done Global Poker.

Sorry about that, my post wasn't super helpful there. I forget you can't just guess his username

GlobalPoker_Joey

He is a mod on here, and associated with Global Poker. Tends to read through posts and will post occasionally as well. The best way though is to hit him up with a PM to make sure your post doesn't get lost in the noise.

Global Poker Joey, I just got a reply saying I didn’t send in the verification documents. LOL I sent those in about 20 times. My cashout was denied so i requested a new one today. I sent the documents in again. This time I hope it’s resolved. I really have to say that this has been a terrible experience. I just want my money.

When I verified my account last January, I sent in my DL and a utility bill, I think electric don't remember now. Waited I think 5 days then got an email reminding me I needed to send verification docs in before they could process my cash out. lol I politely replied, I already sent them about an hour after the first request, and I'm attaching them again now for their convenience. This time I had to wait about 5 hours, got a reply back saying thanks, you're verified.

Sometimes there's hicups along the way, but they are not crooks and once verified things go smoothly in my experiences.

Try sending a utility bill.

is this confirmed? again I'm more concerned with whatever PayPal was concerned with
