Cashouts make no sense!

None of this cashout process makes any sense whatsoever. I feel as though I am just getting the run around. Details:
1. See Global Poker advertised as quick payouts through PayPal on Poker News so deposit $50 on July 9. Global Poker no longer accepts PayPal for withdrawals.
2. There are no options to cash out in the poker client or when signed in on the Global Poker website.
3. Send in my verification documents per the Global Poker website FAQ.
4. Get a prompt response that utility bills are no longer accepted. So I send in my bank statement. I receive an email that my documents are approved.
5. I respond that the cashout process is confusing since it cannot be found in the poker client or on their website.
6. Get a quick response saying that they understand the confusion and provide me a link to click on. Also, in the email they recommend depositing and cashing out with a Visa or Mastercard (which makes no sense for cashing out because I had to give them by bank account to be verified).
7. So, I click on the link in the email and it takes me to Chumba Casino which I have never made an account for. I try my Global Poker credentials and it doesn't work.
8. I send them an email saying this makes no sense and am waiting on a response. Will update. This whole thing just feels like a run around. I regret depositing on Global Poker.

Yes, I tried cashing out today and ran into the issue. So, I sent my bank details and got an email that I am certified. I then asked them how to cashout and they responded that Mastercard or Visa would be best (makes no sense because they have my bank info) and told me to click on the link below in the email. I click on the link and it takes me to Chumba Casino which I have never used. My Global Poker log in doesn't work there. This whole thing is sketchy.

Joey/Kimber,

I have been informed today by Global support that they are unable to process cashouts to CAD accounts. Is there anything either of you can do for me here?

username: loveskunk.

Thanks in advance!

Also if I am out of luck indefinitely please rip off the band aid and just let me know.

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that, right now, we are still unable to process cash outs to CAD accounts. This is still a work in progress after our transition to a new system, as you can appreciate it.

Lol, complete joke.. How the hell can they roll out a system to "improve payment systems" and not even test it. This is probably the most tilting thing I've experienced in a while.

Can't wait to get my money off this site.. If I ever do.. Lol

The wording of the Email is unclear. Are they able to send money to USD accounts at Canadian banks or only American banks? Some clarification on this would be great.

Joey and Kimbr please check your private messages. I’d like to sort this issue.

True. I did provide them with the correct routing number for ACH but I guess doesn't matter for the moment.

Hi,
I replied the email with my ACH routing number. Will the money go back to my bank account again?

Hey bud. That's zendesk which is their support system. Just create a password using the email you used for Global and you should be all set. Frustrating for sure.

I too had troubles Cashing out in Canada, they said to make a USD account. I created a USD account at my bank and sent them the information....

Hopefully it all goes smoothly, although my bank did say I did not have to make a USD account for them to put USD in my account, so I'm pretty confused as to their insistence to create one.

I got the same reply, and provided my details again even after they confirmed that they had it in the beginning.

That was 4 days ago. I requested a two cashouts on on June 27th and 29, both was approved a few days later. This has been 2 weeks + now. Getting ridiculous

I told them that I no longer live at my address that I had on file and they were sent a bank statement with my new address on it where I opened my bank account at where I currently get my mail. It’s not like they’re sending me a check their doing a direct deposit all the stuff is filled out,all the information was sent to them the address matches my bank statement and I verified my address and now they won’t respond to any of my emails. I’ve sent at least five at this point. I don’t think they’re gonna try to pay me And if they don’t pay me in the next couple days I’m no longer going to play there anymore. There real quick to let you make a deposit but if this site really cared theyd make you confirm your identity before you ever made a deposit so therefore there would be no issues cashing out I will keep everybody here updated on if I receive my $600 cash out. And again what would be the odds of someone knowing my bank account information both checking and routing numbers and on top of that my username and password, knowing my email with my username and password knowing what poker site I play on with my username and password and knowing how much to cash out and where to send it, all seems a little bit absurd to me. There’s no excuse for somebody who’s already been verified wants you to be verified again and then they tell you to verify your address and you do and they no longer respond to you at all.
Hi, pokerguy79. Upon checking, I can confirm that your account has been updated and your request has been processed. Please be advised that once your cash out has been updated to "Paid", this means it's now on the bank's processing end and may take another 3-5 business days to complete depending on your bank's policy.

As I have checked, this has already been processed. Once your cash out has been updated to "Paid", this means it's now between Worldpay and your bank and may take another 3-5 business days to complete depending on your bank's policy. Thanks.

Yeah this is bothersome. I really don't mind eating the banks conversion fee, I just want my money. Would be very appreciative of a post in this thread when you receive your cashout.

I'll let you know, just gave them the info today.

tbh I don't see how they could possibly not cash us out if we get the USD accounts? Wouldn't that constitute fraud or something? Allowing us to put money on, pay them rake, take other people's money by winning, then not giving us any options to cash out??

I definitely hate eating the banks conversion fee btw lol

Exactly - I've had poker sites wire USD to my Canadian bank account numerous times with no problems. The bank just does the $ conversion instead of the site.

My friend who also plays on Global (and who has cashed out via paypal numerous times) created a USD account with his bank today and sent in the supporting docs after getting the runaround from Global about needing a USD account. Apparently support has been good with communication so far, but I'll report back with updates.

Also, in the email correspondence with my friend, they stated:

"At this time, the only way we can process your cash out is via a USD account as we are unable to process any cash out transactions to a Canadian bank account due to Foreign Exchange rates and technical difficulties that we are currently working on"

Like, what does that even mean? "Due to foreign exchange rates" "technical difficulties".... they're not doing the cashouts themselves, they have a payment processor to do it for them.

How about some transparency?

I still don't understand how it is so EFFING HARD to come on and just clarify what the issue is. HOW DO WE GET PAID IF WE LIVE IN CANADA?!?!??!?!??!!?

It is REALLY SIMPLE.. If we can't then tell us so we stop wasting our ****ing time trying to cash out and I can come back when this **** is fixed.

I've seriously never been this tilted withdrawing money from any site before.. I've had funds basically stolen on shady sites and it was a less tilting experience than this.. At least I could move on, while this is just pissing me off more and more every day.
