I don't have current mail I can use.

But I sent in everything else imaginable, and included myself/the date in the photo.

Feel like what I've provided should DEFINITELY be enough, lol.

Can you please resend it? Make sure that you're using the email address that you registered with your Global Poker account and that you send it to support@globalpoker.com. Thank you.

Action on this website has increased a lot last few weeks. Software is good. Paypal deposits and cashouts sound way too good to be true. I understand the "sweepstakes" model and I really hope this site flourishes. American players are hungry for a place to play.

Just requested my first cashout. Fingers crossed!

That's who I sent it to. I just resent it though.

Would love clarification though.. I'm happy to provide like, overboard Identity verification, just literally do not 'have' mail like that I can use.

I sent; my ID, Birth Certificate, Social, my GED, and proof of my Employment.

Happy to do anything else I can.. feel like that should all override the need for the address. I think it's a lot easier to get a fake utility bill than what I've provided lol.

Included my face in all the pictures too! As well as a piece of paper I wrote on with the date/my username and stuff.

Cash out received, thanks for your help!

At the advice of the Facebook support I now also included a bank statement (PDF)

Evidently a stupid piece of mail, trumps EVERYTHING I sent them. Absolutely ridiculous.

Not everyone has utilities in their name.

Totally logical right?

Mail is definitely irrefutable proof of someone's identity, compared to birth certificate.. proof of employment, social security.. my GED.

Unbelievable.

Hello Kim. Can you check my cash out?

I understand their policy, and they seem like really nice people.. but, It's pretty insane to not make an exception for someone when they provide you with absolutely over the TOP proof, that they are who they claim to be..

If that's not the purpose of Identity Verification, than what is...

They also need proof of your address to make sure you live in the US. Birth certificate, GED, etc don't have your address. You don't have a gas bill, electric bill, water bill, cable bill or internet bill? Jealous of you if you don't.

I also gave them proof of my employment which you can only do in the US. I work from home for Amazon, and you're only allowed to do that HERE, and in certain states. Furthermore, If I were outside the US.. I'd be playing Pokerstars..

All I had in the way of a PICTURE of mail was an old one. I sent them a PDF bank statement from last month, I use Simple.com as my bank, which shows a US address.. matches my name, it's just a DIFFERENT address in the SAME town.

But no, I don't currently have a phone, I don't have bills in my name either, I've always rented from other people.. and I've moved a TON. It's a struggle out there these days.

I mean, I've just sent them a mountain.. any reasonable company/institution in the WORLD, would have given me the thumbs up by now.

Pretty frustrating how you can deposit as much $$ as you want, but cashing out can be held up on (at this point) a ridiculous technicality.

I don't think I'm being unreasonable here. This would not happen on any other poker site, as they would have accepted my documents I mentioned, as more than enough proof..

I can't possibly be the only person in my situation.. It so happens I don't know 100% where I'm moving (but I need to) within less than a week. Sort of poses a problem for producing/getting sent a new piece of mail.

It's not like I can just register for a new utility/buy a car to have insurance on/get a phone when I can't really afford it (Skype is life, especially when you work at home..)

I wouldn't be too sure that every poker site would cash you out when you apparently have nothing in the way of ID or bills that match your registered address.

Not sure, but it is a pretty unique situation.

It might turn out that you have to wait until you have something from your new address.

Have you explained the situation to their reps to see if they have any suggestions?
05-08-2017 , 10:48 PM
Sorry about the shatner-posting. It truly is a bad habit.

I should've said; I've never had this problem anywhere else, ACR/Ignition have always cashed me out without any issues.

Was hoping the reps would be a bit more understanding, places like this do not ask for what I sent them, as most people wouldn't be willing to do so, it's too much.. too personal.

So I guess I assumed they would make an exception/give me some other options. I explained all of this in even more detail to the Facebook rep, but they sort of just stopped answering.

The logic just irks me, It's relatively easy for people to make up a fake piece of mail.. which I'm sure happens (maybe not here on Globalpoker, but certainly elsewhere) yet, very hard to provide what I did.

Hopefully they'll either read this post/my Facebook message and come to a solution for me. I've really been enjoying the site, done very well, got a ton of my friends playing, but am now in the awkward position of looking like an idiot/not being able to convince people it isn't a scam.. because I can't even complete my own cashout. That and obviously, a guy in my situation, could use his pocket money in a timely manner..
05-08-2017 , 10:58 PM
I cashed out and it is still pending. I email and email Global Poker and nobody gets back to me. All of my friends want a great site to play at and I want to vouch for Global Poker but I guess they would rather keep my $600 bucks. I will take my money to another site and cut my losses.

Any time you want to email me back would be great!

SHIPITMYWAY is my username.
