Can't see mucked hands? Can't see mucked hands?

Just started playing here and want to be sure. Just played a hand, I check/shove river, villain calls, I win, villain mucks. I don't get to see his hands in some hand history or whatever?

This seems great to me, it's back to being like actual poker. But I want to make sure I'm not missing anything - is there a way to see hands that villain mucks?

Anyone who uses the hand history will have their hole cards exposed, regardless if your hand made it to showdown or not. It's a unique feature you can only find at Global. (edit: only way you'll see mucked cards, or if they willingly have the Muck Losing Hands option unchecked)

Thanks but I have no idea what you said lol. Here's what I want to know: I check/shoved river and won, Villain mucked. Can I see what he had, yes or no?

I like this site, my guess is the answer is NO I cannot see cards people muck, just like if it's at a live cash game. If the answer is YES you can see mucked cards, please tell me what setting/option/whatever to find out? If I can see them, I don't know how to and want someone to tell me.

No worries I get it. I'll try again haha.

The answer is 1) if he clicks on the link to the hand replayer (can easily be found at the table under "Hand Started: random string of code" under the
'Dealer' stuff) for that hand specifically, it will expose his cards. Anyone who clicks on the replayer will unfortunately have their cards exposed. Don't know why that happens, but it's a thing. There's a post here about it https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...litch-1792288/

Or 2) if he has the Muck Losing Hands option in Settings unchecked -- so if a player loses at showdown, he has the choice to show his losing hand, like if he had a bad beat or whatever.

Hopefully that makes a little bit more sense. #1 might be a thing that only makes sense once you click on the replayer and randomly see someone's folded 72o from UTG or whatever from time to time.

lol still not quite. Here is a hand I played earlier: https://play.globalpoker.com/gp/10/h...f88c0001c1c08e

Can I see what he had? That's a yes or no answer. On Stars or whatever you can find out what he had. On Global Poker, can I see what he called the river bet with and then mucked?

Am I saying something wrong that doesn't make my question clear?

default answer is no unless one of the two things I previously mentioned happens.

FWIW- i like the fact GP doesn't automatically flip up all cards on the river.

"standard at a table (at most places) - and standard on GP"

That's all I wanted to know, that I can't see mucked hands no matter where I look or with software/whatever. Thanks.

Same here. On Global I feel like I'm actually playing real poker again. Ignition became table selecting your way against all the bots or whatever else that was doing GTO crap and not poker.

If villain is the final aggressor in the hand and someone calls, you will see his hand. Otherwise, you will only see it if he shows it. If he isn't called and mucks without showing, you will not see it. If it isn't shown at the table, then it won't be shown on hand history replayer.

When a villain actively bets river for *almost* all they have, except for a few cents, just call with the winning hand. If you raise just to get the few cents you won't get to know what their cards were if you win.

This does not work on previous rounds of betting, where another card(s) is still coming.

It's funny when vils try it on early streets out of habit though...

Most of the information you'll get about hole cards will come from hands where each hand checks the river.

So you can check intentionally to gain information on tight passive players.
