Im confused. I don't see the option to just buy $weepscash. So buying gold coins and playing gold coins is not cash value is that correct?

Correct. The Gold Coins are the thing you purchase, and the bonus $weeps Cash is what you play for at the tables. Then when you have more than $50 $weeps Cash you are allowed to get a matching amount in USD into your PayPal account. Its a little confusing, but Global does a good job, and it will start making sense once you get in and play.

interested to see how this turns out. If I remember correctly the $750 gold coins is the ONLY package that doesnt get you any free sweeps cash, which I am completely baffled why that is the case

Two things,

1. So far in the past it has turned out well. So far I have seen it happen 4 times, and 4 times Global has fixed the situation to the player's satisfaction. So while is not a guarantee by any means, I lean towards the they will fix it side

2. They have this option for regulatory reasons. Or at least that is what is being said. Keep in mind you don't ever deposit money on Global, you purchase Gold Coins. Then as a bonus, Global gives you this $weeps Cash thing, that happens to allow you to get an equal amount back in your PayPal account as a trade for your $weeps Cash. If you are looking into this company as a 3rd party, you would likely conclude, "Hey this is just a work around for playing online poker for money (which isn't illegal, but let's put that aside)" Global can then counter back, "We actually have a Gold Coins only package, which means they get no $weeps Cash from us, and only play in the the Gold Coin, play money currency on our website."

Also, I am by no means a legal expert, and all of this doesn't necessarily represent Global's actual reasoning, just what I have gleaned from being here for a while.

I made the same mistake yesterday and I still didn't get any answer from Global...gold coins are bull****.I hope they gonna transfer it to real money

To be fair it does say $0 right on where you purchase it. They’ve refunded in the past though

So far they have. I wouldn't let it keep you up at night. But I also understand you wanting to hear sooner than later. Keep in mind we are in their Australian weekend so likely less staff is working.

And I also understand the confusion, it happens more than you might think. (Not the $750 purchase, but the confusion of GC vs $weeps Cash) Those of us who have been here a while forget we had to learn this system and now that we have, we don't remember the times we didn't know it.
