Sorry this is happening to you dude, but it does say clear as day no sweeps cash bonus. Luckily they’re nice enough to fix this for you.

Okay first of all, according to your posts you made the incorrect purchase 5 days ago on the 21st, not 7 days. And you created your own problem here by not paying attention to what you were buying. I'm guessing you have a lot of bad customer experiences.

All that being said, 5 days with no response from support on what should be an easy issue to resolve, is unacceptable. Hopefully you have not been flooding them with emails because that's a good way to backlog their support team and delay your getting help. Somehow I won't be surprised if you have. But if you haven't, after 5 days a follow up email is definitely warranted. There's no excuse to not respond for that long.

One other thing, MAKE SURE you are emailing support from the email address you have registered your account on global with, and their emails aren't going to your spam folder or something like that. I had an issue on Sunday and emailed their support, and got a response about 6 hours later. So they do respond/are responding. You should get an automated response acknowledging your email, followed by a human response typically in 24-48 hours (sometimes faster as I experienced Sunday).

Global should really remove that option...

Imagine how many poor souls out there don’t know about
2+2 and just bought $750 in gold coins

There’s no way anyone would ever buy that many gold coins for $750 on purpose. No way.

It's been somewhat agreed upon here that they have to have the gc with no sc package for sweeps legal regulations of some sort although a rep has never confirmed it. There used to be a $75gc package with no sc$ and it was purchased accidentally more often. I think they increased the amount hoping less accidents would happen, makes sense for a few reasons.

I think gluten free quoted (in a different thread) a rep saying they do it exactly for regulatory reasons, although I don't think anyone has stated why it is the $750 price point, but I agree, its likely to reduce the number of times it happens. If it was the $20 package, they would likely have to dedicate a support rep just to answering those particular emails.

They've made it very clear on the page that the $750 option is different from every other option. I'm not sympathetic for people who fail the basic "caveat emptor" test.

A rep said it was a regulatory requirement back when it was $75 and they had this problem more frequently. I feel reasonably sure they moved it to $750 to reduce the problem, simply because so many fewer will buy $750 than would buy $75. They could further reduce the problem making it $7500 but man, when someone messes that one up it is going to be a huge issue due to the amount.

While I agree with this 100%, I do think a lack of response from support for 5 days is not okay, even though this is fully the player's fault.

It would certainly be better if they responded more quickly - I suspect they're not staffed properly for the level of support that goes with their level of popularity.

Agreed. 5 days is a bit ridiculous. Come on Global, we know you are better than this.

It seems extremely unlikely to me that our support team would have gone 5 days without responding to an email.

Perhaps check your spam filters, failing that let me know and I will see what I can find out

Hello, I am very new to global poker and I made the same mistake. After looking up the same issue other people were having I created a support ticket but got nothing back. If you have the time to assist me globalpoker_joey that would be awesome.

You have done everything you need to do. So far they have helped everyone that I am aware of, but it could be longer than you want it to be. Just be patient with the process.
