multitabling multitabling

how many tables do you guys play? i saw a solid reg (one of the best at the stakes) 16 tabling. i'm trying to wrap my mind around how that's even possible with such a short timebank??? he's not even timing out and makes good decisions overall fairly quickly. meanwhile there are times where i feel overwhelmed and time out while just 6tabling so this is just mind = blown. like this site isn't conducive to mass tabling by design, as opposed to say stars. how the hell can you process and input so much information so quickly?

Yeah I don't understand how people are playing more than like 6-8 tables the way everything is structured here

People used to 24 table with fast tables on stars

it's possible, I've had 10 stt going with an mtt or 2 on the side. Depends on # of players at table, gets tough when a bunch are short handed or hu. I wasn't a masstabler ever before even with hud, I'm sure it's doable.

My q is what stakes or game runs 16x at once? ss nhle cash maybe? no stts run that much unless is a combo of bi's, and idk if there's even 16 mtt's per day let alone enough to to fill a screen with.

edit - im sure there's over 16 mtts per day now that they added all the no gtd's which i think is good. I still dont think its possible to get close to 16 mtts up at a time playing the full schedule unless some kinda god mode run good is enabled, and still maybe not

You may have seen me in the microstakes, but I 16 table there. I bet solid hands, get in cheap on connectors and pairs on preflop. If nothing on flop I dump them unless I can stay cheap. No bluffing at all. I also manage to take notes on every single person on the table.

I can play 3, but I bluffs too much

the difference is this guy is probably a pretty big winner at small stakes up to 1/2, plays a lot of hands, runs multistreet bluffs, fights for pots and is quite aggro. so i have no idea how he can get away with such a complex strat while 16 tabling...

I know exactly who you're talking about and I talk with them fairly regularly. He's a pro gamer so I think this translates well into quick decisions, actions, etc. I used to have this in me, now days, not so much!

HAHAHA okay. I try NOT to bluff, but sometimes you can't help it. And a lot of the time I'm really focuses on the 16 tables I'll make a few mistakes here and there. But seriously, bluffing is very bad at the micro stakes.

I think I could 16 table 1/2 to 3/6 and make a fairly decent profit/winrate. I wouldn't just be picking a strategy and playing the same against everyone either. When i mass table im playing every hand intricately, making my big overbet bluffs based on combinatorial mathematics, or tiny 1/5 size bets, ect.

I usually play max 6 tables of 10/20, though the players there are a big step up from 3/6.

for what and for who? full ring flhe or spins? Hu sngs or 9 handed nlhe? fast fold or regular? Large field mtts or 6max stts? thats a pretty general post.

For the doubters itt maybe google nanoko the old PS pro and watch his youtube vids to see world class mass tabling. Or some of the guys that chase the beast on wpn week in and week out, they play everything that runs from 20-200nl, granted its hud and better software but i get the impression a lot of people have never seen whats actually possible at top levels by the best in the world.

Not to scare people and none of these guys play here that I've heard of but im sure there's people right now that could beat 24 tables if they moved their action here and traffic supported it.
