I've been playing on global since January of 2019, a few weeks ago I took 1st in an mtt and decided to try and cash some of it out for the first time. Well I can't get through the verification process because my license is scratched and worn and I can't get a new one right now because the DMV in my area is still closed due to Covid 19. No big deal on my end until logging in today and I'm blocked from even registering a tournament without account verification even though I'm not trying to cash out. This is sucks, just had a big win yesterday to roll me through the summer series too.

Nah, I resolved with CS that I wouldn't be able to verify until the DMV opens back up and thought the matter was closed. I don't really care about my $720 balance, but I'm gonna miss the community if I have to play somewhere else. The daily twitch game has become something I really look forward too. It's weird that if I had never tried to cash out I'd still be able to play.

It’s not a banning it’s an account verification. OP just needs to verify info but since they have reached GPs threshold they will lock the account to make them prove who they are. And judging by OPs comments they understand what is being asked. PokerStars will do random verifications at times and lock the account too. It sucks but not unheard of. I always tell anyone who plans on playing a site to verify ASAP to make sure when it’s time to withdraw its quick and easy.

Update: I managed to get an appointment scheduled at the DMV, haven't heard anything from CS except asking me if I have a passport again.

You have recourse, you can get a new driver's license. You didn't follow the rules and got blocked, so that's on you not the site.
