Hey guys, was playing 4 tables and got logged out. When i tried to log back in it said my account was blocked and to contact support.

Please one of the moderators can you help expedite what's happening here?

I've attached a screenshot of the notice i received and a screenshot of the support contact form on Globals site.

Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Your account is suspended for 30 days for using the HH converter. As are many other accounts. Games are going to be reallllly soft for the next 30 days.

No man. They just sent me an email saying the matter is closed. I did not get any explanation or suspension notice.

Ok, email issue (an old issue) was resolved. They responded with a 7 day ban for using a hand converter a few months ago.

Yes, you used the hand converter. Check email

Be grateful you weren't perma banned like you all should have been.

Yikes on the GUI setup there Global. "Your account is blocked, please contact support" followed by a big "Play Poker Now" button? Seems like that button should say, "Contact support"

That aside, did you use the hand converter and get an email? I would love to know if that is happening to people.

same here. Blocked for 30 days.

So you got a 7 day ban while others got a 30 day ban? Where's the justice in that?

Please don't shout from the roof-tops anything of the sort. The games were way softer for about a year before all the regs started showing up. They showed up because everyone thought it was cool or smart to tell everyone else. Wish people would realize you are shooting yourself in the foot by doing this type of thing.

What is a hand converter and why would one need to use it?

It is publicly available code for building a chrome extension which exports your hand history in the PokerStars format so that you can import it to a tracker such as HM2 or PT4. People use it so that they can track their own games and review hands which they played.

It is nice to see Global Poker now stepping up their game and shutting down accounts like this. I am not concerned about the trackers but this type of thing will also stop bots and players using illegal HUDs as well - which I believe is the real intention.

The chrome extension should not be banned IM. In fact, they should build it into the software somehow so everyone has it. There needs to be an easy way for people to download their hands and track their results.

The hand history chrome extension doesn't show screen names, so it's not possible to build up strategies on specific opponents.

I signed on in May, the games have been great since day 1. Most of the regs are pretty bad.

You may have missed my point. Just because the games are +EV does not mean they were never better. If you play the game to win, which I assume you do, then telling any player on a poker forum that the site will be soft will only hurt you.

It is your choice but I tell you that the games were much better before May. I have been on GP since Dec '16 when the site only had 4 tables of 20nl.

Any good online cash player already knows about Global. If anything, some fun players might see that it's softer here and switch sites. You guys should focus more on getting better.

Back on topic though. It's bs that players are being banned for a chrome extension that lets them track their own results and no one elses. It doesn't give the players an edge other than being able to easily review their hands and figure out what their winrates are.

This site's T.O.S. specifically say
"PLAY ON GP IN A NON-PROFESSIONAL MANNER"

So quit trying to play in a professional manner, there are other sites for that.

Keep up the good work GP.

Is it against the rules?
