But from the day my account was opened, the most transactions to PayPal accounts in one week was 10.

I don't know how I can provide proof as to this was from a phone call. Maybe u can see I haven't been able to put funds on my global in 2 weeks is the best proof I have until I call them after work and have them email me.

But please take caution, I am not lying.

Just limit the amounts of transactions u have from and to other PayPal accounts and you should be good.

I clearly stated I have never made a charge back.

I was just trying to help you guys out and you guys accuse me of lying.

**** it, I won't call and get that email for you, you're right I'm lying.

Please do keep all your funds on global, I think it's deff wise to just avoid everything I said due to a few grammar mistakes.

What would be my motive of lying?
I can't speak for everyone, but I don't think you are lying. I don't think you are telling the truth either. I haven't seen enough information to make up my mind on the issue yet.

With that said, all I was looking for was how the conversation took place. If it was over the phone, of course I wouldn't expect you to post that.

As for reasons to lie:
1. You are bored and like to troll
2. You real name is Matt and you like to troll.
3. You work for a competitor
4. You suffered some bad beats and are making up stories to try to be compensated.

Those are just the ones of the top of my head.

You are posting in an anonymous internet forum. I think being skeptical of what people say is likely a very wise thing to do here. Don't take it personally, it isn't personal. Its just being smart about how people act on the internet.

Yeah, I guess that's good advice. If Global ever adds crypto or some other cash out option, I may play there again, but I don't want to spend a bunch of time grinding only to get my PP shut down.

I came to the Global Poker forum to start a thread about the conversation that I just had with Paypal CS, then this thread is at the top and things make more sense.

I have been trying to purchase gold coins with my paypal account the past week and everytime I got the same error "Paypal cannot complete your transaction at this time".

Today I called paypal to get to the bottom of it. After talking with the CS rep and trying several more times, the CS rep determined that Paypal was blocking the transaction to the vendor (VGW). I could use a credit card to a make a purchase if I desired but he recommended that I dont.

I have to call bs on this. Deposits isually won work through credit card but works if you already have money in your PayPal balance

I dont take any of the posts from accounts that were just made in the last 3 months seriously. If OP posts evidence in the first post then sure. These forums have tons of crazy people in them with weird agendas.

Depends on the cc
03-24-2018 , 01:01 AM
I meant to put it usually won't let you deposit through cc. It works every time with PayPal balance. So the guy saying PayPal blocks balance deposits to vgw is bs
03-24-2018 , 01:45 PM
My story isnt bs. Im trying to deposit a small bankroll to grind of cash games in the evening and attempts to pay via Paypal balance get the same error everytime. I emailed GP customer support and they said their was no issue on their end and gave a standard list of things to try (popup blocker, firewall, etc) nothing helped.

Then I called Paypal to figure it out. After several failed attempts to deposit with the CS rep on the phone, looking at what was going on, I was told that Paypal was blocking the transaction to this website and there was nothing further he could do.

If this didnt happen, then I would be playing on the site, and not posting about how I can't deposit.

Of course if Paypal is in fact flagging accounts as suspicious that withdrawal and blocking deposit, then thats something the site needs to get figured out.

One more thing to be considered here. Global does not offer player to player transfers and Paypal is 'not' Netteller. (for those who remember Netteller

Paypal should not be used as a player to player transfer method. As a one off i'm sure it's not a problem, but if you're getting deposits from VGW and then transferring that money to people and just rinse and repeat weekly you're gonna get flagged for suspicious activity. I don't find that hard to believe.

Agreed. I use my PayPal daily for personal purchase and have a business account with a debit card.

However, unless its a transfer to a family member that requires PayPal, I reserve it completely for business / commercial use.

Venmo, FBpay, bitcoin, and countless other methods are far better for sending a few thousand around every few weeks. Tons of transactions weekly will get you flagged by anyone however, and PayPals customer support is not known to be understanding.

You're account shouldn't be flagged for transferring funds to other players/users. As far as PayPal is concerned, that's what the service was designed for and it's not integrated with VGW Holdings in any way, shape or forum, so they're independent. Accounts that are flagged are due to PayPal being suspicious of VGW Holdings. Yes, Joey says PayPal is aware of them. No ****, they're aware of my business account as well. We're not questioning that, but whether PayPal truly understands the business model and what's going on, which the clear answer is 100% they do not and this is based on an investigation they did with my account and the million questions they asked about the business model over the course of a month while my account was frozen.

I've been involved in various online marketplaces and crypto communities for a long time. PayPal will find ANY excuse to shut an account down and it is next to impossible to have it reinstated after.

If you and 5 buddies are sending each other weekly transfers for thousands of dollars your PayPal account is getting flagged.

In regards to the global poker side of things, I can't speak. The transactions I've had with VGW have been uninterrupted and I've had no issues with support when calling them regarding transactions.

I find it unlikely that PayPal is going to give us a statement about VGW, but considering how many millions of dollars that have surely gone through their account, I can't imagine this is a widespread issue.
