Bad beat jackpot? Flopped quads and lost

I just flopped quads with 10 10, got it in on the turn, and the opponent hit a royal flush on the river. It was insane but it did make me wonder, is there a bad beat jackpot at all?
Never heard of it and couldn't find much on it.

No, but I feel like this is the one big promotion Global actually needs for recreational players, like the way Absolute Poker did it back in the day, where everyone at the stake where it hit got paid some sort of share.

Damn, I was hoping there was, would be cool but I'm not sure where other sites get the money from. I'm sure it comes out of rake but maybe it either means rake is slightly higher or the money the allocate to other promotions and prizes would be less so it can go to jackpot? I doubt they can introduce it for 'free' without taking more from rake or other promotions.
