Any way to sell tournament ticket? Any way to sell tournament ticket?

Hi all,

I recently won one of those "SC Summer Series Entry 99" tickets from the free shovefest. I am not a tournament player and was wondering if there is any way to sell these tickets. If not, what would be my "best option" here other than playing the tournament myself. Thanks in advance!

No way to transfer person to person. Your only option is to play the tourney, and it was free for you, so why not?

The $100k PKO Main Event would be your best bet -- even if you knock out a player or two and don't make the money you'll at least get a nice bankroll boost.

Thanks and makes sense. I'll be playing the tourney, but I have close to 0 tourney experience so I just didn't want to get stomped in a higher buy in event. Hopefully I'll get lucky haha

I wouldn't worry too much about that; the Summer Series is nothing but $99 events and there will be plenty of satellite qualifiers (like me!) so if you're even a modest winner at the cash game stakes you play, you should be able to hold your own at least in the early stages. I'd look for a free or inexpensive primer on push/fold strategy, because even in the deeper events on Global, things tend to devolve into a shovefest quicker than they do on other poker sites.

Thanks for the reassurance! I plan to use a push/fold strategy as well as some ranges I've found for changing effective stack sizes. My cash game is relatively sound for my stakes, but it's definitely not the equivalent of a $99 buyin and I'm used to only playing 100bb effective. I saw the results from today's PKO and I think I'd be happy to take down a bounty or 2 if possible, which should be if luck is in my favor!
