Two good ones here one with Ace hi flush versus straight flush, the other with flopped quads against AA.

Another tourney, another crappy suckout. Decided to play today, hopped in the 2k deep & bubbled it with this bs... https://play.globalpoker.com/hand/64...f1b90001a38234 I don't know why I even tried. Fk me.

Was this a bounty tourney? That call seems a bit 😳. Who knows might be his favorite hand. Or players who go off with J6, for Trump. January 6th, merica

I was playing in the same turny and watching ur table and I saw that hand happen in real time..... I was like brooooooo, thats so f*ked. AA<j3? he did think about folding for a couple seconds but just called it off. its not even a bounty turny WTF. (-_-)

Don't give up bro, u were doing really good throughout the most of the turny (from wat i saw n e ways). Sometimes its just not ur turn to win.

I could fill a book with just the beats from today. I won't bore you, just know I did my part and donated over $100 in tourney and SNG entries tonight just to have GP mind-f... me repeatedly.

Thanks Moku. I have no idea what made them think J3 was a call there, especially since I'm probably one of the tightest players, and never showdown some bs. Or they know how bad I run and figured it was a no brainer win. Printing money. It's hard to not be bitter after so many hundreds of games with similar results. I finally got my own bank account so I can cash out soon. Going back to sng's and SATs.

This has been going on for weeks. https://play.globalpoker.com/hand/64...f1b90001a39c82

I caught hell (not about this hand) in chat from someone who reads these forums when I called his AI with 98h in a hyper. We were both very short stacked and it was uber standard. The above, however, is not standard lol. Except for the run I'm currently on.

I dunno if 'caught hell' is fair, lol.

I do not think it's a call. Or maybe you think I'm shoving 60% there (I'm not). I wish I'd have saved it to run the math on it. Did you?
05-13-2023 , 04:19 PM
I was getting 2-1 about to go to the 4th level of a hyper with maybe 400 in chips. That's a good enough price to call there especially considering you could've been shoving at least 50% on the button there, since you were around 400 as well.

Hit another 1 outer! Against the made Ace hi flush.

The rebuy period was still active, hence my overbet jam. Got caught trying to steal and got rewarded.

Don't have the link but in the Sunday 11, sitting 15 out of 15 with 8bb. I'm in the SB. Folds around. I jam A8o, bb with 12 bb sitting around 12th calls with 4/5s.

Runout: Aj484. Ended in 15th for $88, villain finishes in 2nd for 1.3k. A win there and I make top 7 pretty easily. I guess not bad for getting in through the Mega. It's unfortunate that in these massive spots to either cash or get deeper ITM, especially when ahead, I am not holding. Maybe next time.

Some of the calls people make are utterly baffling, even super deep in the tourney like that. Like what are they expecting to be ahead against there? They could surely find a better spot to put basically all their chips in.

KK is by far my most losing hand all in preflop. Decided to play a sng last night, of course I bubble with it...

Calling that all in for your trny life when you had just 800 invested was your mistake. In a ring game sure, just rebuy. Could have been a low set,(with his limp) or Ace 8. Why not blame yourself there for calling? I'm not being a dick, just my thought since you put it out there and blame the "same old bs".

I didn't put any background on it, but the guy was pulling the same move a lot. I laid down several big hands to it already at this point, losing quite a few chips in the process, and I made a stand here, knowing how this guy played, I knew I was good. Normally I dont call such big overbets with only top pair. He busted out a few hands after this.

Ok given your history with the villain you made a stand there same as we all would (or should). Sometimes to live you must be willing to die.
