Look at it this way: your not down 700 since Jan..... your up thousands+++ in the last 12 months =). When in doubt, zoom out. Just keep getting it in w/ "the best of it" and it will eventually even out.

Poker is a funny game, u can do everything right and still lose. sometimes u just gotta accept fate and carry on.

That's incredibly gross. Hands like this have led some to accuse them of running a "hand matching" program that levels out outcomes. I can't remember the actual name, it's used in video games also, some others have referenced it.

You played it fine, they played it badly, but this is also why I will sometimes shove up to 15-18x bb in these spots. You're not folding to any 3bet here so with anything less than AA or KK might as well shove and if you can scoop the blinds while not giving others a chance to sense weakness and they fold their crap K4, so be it.

maybe you should move to cash games like me, if you play solid its literally printing money, and now theyve got the 30% rakeback, **** makes a huge difference in your hourly.

Yeah that is me. Been super brutal for me since the new year started. I definitely am running really bad, and get my chips in good 95% of the time, but can't seem to book a win anymore. Just last night, only mtt I played all day was the $11 4k gtd., I built up my stack to about 32k, 300/600 blinds, I raise to 1,600 UTG+1 with KK, some dumbfk named Thoth jams like 30k, not folding KK here, if he has AA so be it, nope the fish has Qs7s, flops the flush draw, turns the flush. I'm left with crumbs. This has been the theme for literally 4 months straight. I swear on Thor that I lose with KK vs random garf 80% of the time, if not more. It's come to the point where I know whats going to happen before it even does. This run bad better switch soon, or ill just cash out once I get down to $2,500 and give up.

I literally don't even want to play anymore. No reason to. It's obvious I am not meant to win here. 4 months str8 of the same beats over and over, and yet I kept going back expecting something to change. That is the definition of insanity.

After a $800 downswing where its nothing but coolers after cooler after bad beat after bad beat, this hand finally tilted me. Normally preflop action does not get to me, however after this "downswing" I cant get any of my hands to hold. Ready to withdraw and move to GG or anywhere else.
