I think this is the "secret" DJ Moneybags found out and referenced in his thread. There are a small handful of legitimately good players (mostly found in the 10/20 pool) and the remainder are incredibly weak. Some of the plays I see from regs in 2/5 are baffling.

Has anyone seen any multiaccounting or bots? I dont think I've seen many in PLO, although I do see bots are openly available for NL on GP

Bots I don't know if we've had. But I've personally reported someone who was later confirmed to me to be banned for multiaccounting at PLO 100 and 200.

well this is a gem of a thread lol ive been on ignition for awhile but recently been getting disconnected in big pots and it wasnt on my end ( i have 300mb/sec plan internet) so i decided to check out global. i heard theres "tons of bots" and the cash games are full of them but after 2 weeks of play i can confirm that either there are no bots or the bots suck.

holdem games are tough though. Lots of nitty regs, even the recs are nitty. 50nl is still very beatable though. i play both NLH and PLO at $50 level and some $100. mostly PLO, only time i play NLH is when i cant get a seat in a PLO game.

someone asked how to play aces from the SB..my answer.. if you are fully rolled for $50PLO, then take 10 Bis and buy monker. your not going to get good advice here, you might responses that have good intentions but you really need something to help you study.

as far as regs..when i spot some solid ones ill report back..

This new deepstack omaha event looks fun. I think the BI is 22$, if im remembering correctly.

When 2-3 players leave a table simultaneously that never inspires much confidence. The warbot website lists GP as "medium" security, as opposed to stars which is "high." It seems like there is a fairly consistent group of omaha regs/recs, whereas there are a ton of new names coming and going in NL.

I think GP is fairly rigorous with their identity checks, and redemption process. I know what a headache it was to get my account verified, and my first redemption through. Possible that this has deterred people from setting up multiple accounts?

Games seem to have picked up a bit more over the last week or so. There always seems to be an interesting flow of players moving between 100 And 1k plo. People shot taking or being degens.

Also this 25 days of Christmas promo is a disaster. I don’t expect anything ever, but I feel bad for Recs trying to figure out what any of the promos are. Forcing people to go check out your social media pages is laughable.

Do you guys think the 0.05/0.10 cent games are beatable (at a decent rate)? When I first started PLO, I started at the lowest stakes on Global. I never could run up a roll. Perpetual depositer. Then I moved to ignition (in order to track hand histories) and started to have a lot more success.

I lost my roll on ignition playing blackjack, trying to get the deposit bonus . Moved back to global where it's easier to deposit. The PLO50 tables were CONSIDERABLY easier than ignition's. But anyway, I checked that the rake on PLO50 is actually a fair bit lower than on Global, albeit still very high. Then I realized that the rake cap of 15BB might actually be unbeatable in 0.05/0.10. At least it certainly was with my estimated 40+ VPIP that I was probably doing.

But anyway, obviously a solid player could easily beat 0.05/0.10. But is it realistic for a beginner player to ever beat that rake?

When I first started playing PLO about 18months ago, PLO10 on GP was the first place I ever had success at. For me coping with the variance was a bigger obstacle than the rake/players. I worked so hard to run up that roll, and I torched it all at PLO200. Mistake I wont make twice, and hopefully anyone who reads this wont either

ime you can definitely beat the rake, but grinding at these stakes is just time consuming as hell. The edges are large enough to overcome the rake, especially if you game select well. Microstakes PLO may offer some of the biggest edges of any variant on the site

If only GP offered rakeback. There are some longtime winning regs at PLO100+ on ignition. Unfortunately that the anon format is collusion heaven for PLO, and the games move so slowly you cant see nearly as much volume.

All of you the true goats of global PLO in this thread. Who plays for a living and why? Genuinely curious how much the top people earn on the site

Cannot confirm or deny playing for a living, due to TOS, social site, etc etc....I’ve been grinding mainly 200 pLO with some 100 and 500 sprinkled in and am around +7k on global in December. I decided to punt off a couple stacks at 500 or it would’ve been a better month, but overall a decent December.

I’ll chase leaderboards on Chico a few times a week, which lets me use PT4 to see how I’m actually playing, so not on Global everyday.

How about you, how’s the 500+ games? Making good monies? I hope to be a 500 and 1k reg later this year. Any other sites your enjoying playing on?
