Account Closure Appeal (my own fault) Account Closure Appeal (my own fault)

I got my account closed for sweepstake rules. I admit that I violated the sweeps credits envelope rule. I am sorry. I will not do any envelopes in future. I just want to play poker. Can the admin help me out? Is there a time frame I can wait like 1 year before you consider let me play again?

How did you violate the rule, exactly? Did they tell you that it was for violating the rules in that way? Best to talk to the email support or hit up David about it, but I'm not sure how often they reinstate accounts beyond allowing people to cash out.

Sounds like you tried to steal from them in some way. If so, I doubt you will get your account back.

This is impossible. You think they're going to risk their entire sweepstakes model by reinstating your account but barring you from doing sweepstakes? Then it would be you just depositing and playing online poker not participating in a sweepstakes site...

Go play at NLOP.com another sweepstakes poker site

Why would someone get so greedy that they find a way to **** up getting free money by cheating? You deserve it.

bocs my poker hourly is higher than my envelope hourly after the changes and i give someone else to write. They say in email that they cannot prove anything wrong but choose to close my account. the thread is for admin i dont really care what you people say lol. it is not free money if you trade time for money. i still doing ignition and betonline. good luck all.

I'm not sure an admin of 2p2 can do anything to help with a poker site problem. David Lyons is on here and is a customer support guy, I think, but no way out of talking directly to global.

He should just PM David Lyons if he doesn't want feedback.

He might take a day or three to get back to you, but I suspect he will respond at some point.

For cases like this, the best way forward is an email to CS asking them to escalate to the Game Integrity Manager.

Well, since you don't mind what we say, I will say that the bolded above is truly taking the "L" in life. You are better off if they keep you banned.

I have a question for David Lyons. I was playing on Chumba and used SC that I purchased as well as SC from mailing in envelopes. In January I played the night before I went on vacation. All of my transactions were verified by my bank so I thought everything was good. While on vacation my $900 cash out was processed and went to my bank acct. Half way through my 10 day vacation I received an email stating that some of my transactions were not paid by the bank so they were sending them to a collection agency. I was shocked by all if this and contacted my bank who said they needed me to verify the charges and then they could be put through again. Sometimes the fraud department does this but noone ever reached out to me from my ban so I had no idea. . Upon receipt of the letter from the collection agency- ten days later, I immediately paid the charges. Currently I am waiting to be reinstated but after reading all of these posts wonder if I actually will be. David do you have any experience with chumba regarding this? Chumba email stayed once the charges were settled they would happily review my acct to reinstate.

Making an honest mistake is one thing - having someone else write them is an intentional scam and I see no reason that should be tolerated.

I agree. I'm just a little worried because I don't know how long the process takes.

How long should this take to resolve?

How long should this process take? Supposedly CS forwarded my messages to "the proper department" 3 weeks ago when I paid the charges. It's now been 4-5 weeks since this all started. Is there someone besides CS I should contact? If I send a new message they instruct me to keep adding comments to the original message # and close my new message. The original message is still open but no one sends me responses when I add a comment or question. They also told me not to play on the sister companies sites til my Chumba acct is reinstated.

I’ll nudge the Game Integrity manager again to see if anything is held up, but I want to set your expectations that (a) you won’t get an update from me here and (b) it may take more time.

Thank you very much! How long should I wait to follow up with CS on this? Does this length of time seem normal from your past experience or is it longer than it usually takes? I'm sorry for all the questions but I'm new at this and I guess I don't understand why it would take this long or why they won't at least give me a ball park figure of how long it could take until they will reinstate my acct.
*Do you know if Chumba Support has a "David Lyons" person I could email?
*would I be breaking rules to play on global poker before my chumba acct is reinstated?
*what happens to my envelopes that I mailed in prior to this issue?
*what happens to my SC balance that was on my account?
Thx again for your expertise.
