Account blocked for no reason? Account blocked for no reason?

I started playing on Global Poker a couple of days ago and really liked the site (I actually made my account a long time ago but didn't play on it until a couple of days ago). I deposited $3000, and all was going well until yesterday when suddenly I received an email saying the following:

"Your Global Poker account has been temporarily blocked due to a routine security check. In order to reinstate your account, we ask that you please send valid copies of the below documents with seven (7) days upon received of this email. If you have already provided copies of these before, we still need you to provide them again: 1. Copies of the credit cards ending in 2004 that you used to purchase on our site. Please send in photos of both the front and back of the cards with the first four and last four numbers showing and the middle eight numbers covered up (important that these are covered on both sides of the card). Please ensure that the 3 digit security code on the back of the card is also covered up. You may attach the copies of the above documents once you reply to this email. Usually, our customers are sending their documents with a file size between 1 to 2 MB. So if your document is too big, kindly save it in a format wherein it will not exceed 5 MB. We look forward to receiving your documents."

I have sent in the relevant documents and received the following response:

"Thank you for contacting Global Poker. Thank you for the patience that you have extended to us in this regard. We reviewed your verification documents and have endorsed your concern to the relevant department for further assistance. Please continue to keep an eye on your email for updates regarding this matter. Should your have any other queries that you need assistance with, please do not hesitate to contact us again."

To me, it seems ridiculous that my account is blocked due to a security check-up. Why couldn't you just let me send in the documents without blocking my account and take actions if I fail the verification?

It also seems like it's gonna take a long time to resolve this, which is simply absurd. I have tournaments registered for tonight, albeit not very large ones, but it seems ridiculous that I have to waste my tournament entry fees because of a security check-up.

Looking at other threads on this forum, other possible reasons for the account block include:
1. Bank/credit card company didn't let the deposit charge go through. Nope, I checked with my credit card company, and the charges did go through.
2. Multiple accounts. Pretty sure I only have one account.
3. Chip dumping. I have done nothing of this sort. Only thing I can possibly think of is I was blowing off some stress by playing around with the gold coins (the play money currency on their site) by going all-in every hand at a few tables, but that's it. It's not even real money, and it's my choice of how I play with it and whether or not I go all in every hand.

Anyone experience anything similar? My zendesk ticket number is #3209637.

If you are using some sort of fraud to deposit you could chip dump the money to someone once you get an email that they want verification, if they freeze your account until they get the verification you can't do that.

Tbh not sure what are you talking about and why I would be under suspicion for something like this. I only played some mid to high stakes NL over the past few days and am up 1.5k. I am not dumping anything to anyone.

I'm not saying you are doing anything wrong just saying that's why they restrict the account when they ask for verification. If you did happen to be using fraudulent means to deposit you could chip dump when they ask for verification you know you can't provide.
