20SC Run Up? - Global Poker -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I think a couple guys did it to the 6 fig zone. Lacky and some other MTT reg who posts on here turned not much into quite a lot but I forget his name. I'm sure he will find this thread in the next 20 mins though lol.

I did it back in the day from freerolls. Turned $1.20 FR win on Bugsy's Club (I'm showing my age with that one) into being able to cash out and then depositing that onto all the other sites (FTP, UB, AP, PS, ect.) and culminated in an 11th place finish in Event#1 of the 2008 FTOPS for over $10k. I never once deposited out of pocket. I was hoping I could do the same thing some 15 years later, but poker is definitely tougher these days.

Damn, I though going from 40SC(30 deposit+10bonus) to over 1700SC was good...dont put in much time though.

off table im a str8 mess. like escapism to the max. here my ocd and quirkiness ends up being a strength at times.

think my best attributes in poker are how empathetic and stubborn i am.

So far I'm only up $8. Was up $15, but had a bad run yesterday. I bubbled the Daily SC 500 Bonanza last night, as well as the 2 SNGs I played. I did have a rough day in my personal life though before playing, so I believe mood factors in overall outcome. Let's hope today is better. Good luck!

Yeah I fould out about that last week, and I still have the 20 they start you out with, but I count that as 0. I have plenty to come back with, but the sheer amount of bubbling was crazy. It was like 8 in a row. I did cash in both that I played today so far, so lets stay on the positive side of variance for a while.

Got my 20SC during COVID, hadn't played poker since BlackFriday, current balance + withdraws, maybe 10k? Part time player, maybe couple hours a night max.

Do you play MTT or cash, and what stakes? The play here is pretty bad, but variance is killing me so far on the 6player SNGs.

I won an $11 ticket to the grizzlys through a freeroll, so I was playing the 7:30 event and chipped up nicely until I flopped nut flush, got the player to put all their chips in (TrippyHippie) and the got runner runnered by quads. Left shortstacked & out a couple orbits later.
