The fish would not drown if the air is mixed with the ocean . Maybe understanding how the fish breathes is the answer to the question .

That doesn't make any sense. If air could mix with water, why does more air not disappear in the ocean? We still have an atmosphere so water and air don't mix.

1 in 2 if you are approaching from the left to each individual box

What about if you approach from the south?

→xx 1/2

→xx 1/2

You're not approaching from the south. It's a pointless supposition.

Yes you are, think about this for a moment,

I offer you card 1 of 52 or I offer you 1 card of 5 unknown values.

First offer

{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 52 known values

Second offer

{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 5
{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 5
{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 5
{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 5
{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 5

1 card of 5 unknown values.

→{x,x,.....................x}

{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 5
{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 5
{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 5
{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 5
{x,x,.....................x} card 1 of 5

Absolutely true

or turning this a bit on its edge:

pkdk, why is approaching from the "south" important when it is meaningless...particularly in the linear question you built?

That's a deck.

That's not.

You can't link the decks together across multiple deals. As long as you continue to insist that the decks are somehow linked together across deals, you are going to be wrong.

OMG, it can't be this. Impossible to have this thought process.

Note for mods monitoring this thread.

Is it possible that there is a point in a thread where the count of posts in the thread is so high that performance suffers? Could we have hit that point?

It is not meaningless , you have to switch view from x to y.

you 123
you 123
you 123

In this example the viewpoint of x is 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2,3 when ''standing'' on the west. Each value of 1,2 or 3 having a 1/3 chance of being aligned to the left position.

123
123
123
you

In this example you are ''standing'' south and the viewpoint is 1,1,1 or 2,2,2, or 3,3,3

Angry Is online poker flawed, fundamentally?

Yes it does, pick one value going from left to right is not the same as picking a value from bottom to the top in an array.

A choice from 1,1,1, is obvious not the same as a choice from 1,2,3 with all due respect.

Well, good luck with this.

You will never be able convince a reasonable person that your math is correct. Because it is not.

I suppose you could continue to try.....and I also suppose at some near point in time, the mods in this area of 2+2 will tire of your false premises. These IP mods have seen it all and may not have the patience I showed you in BQ (which wasn't much)

Vector analysis isn't a strong suit for me, I won't deny it.

But I'm 100% certain that it doesn't apply the way you're trying to use it.

While you are correct in this statement, it has no bearing on any discussion related to poker, because you're not picking a value from bottom to top, you're picking a card from 1 set. Then, next hand, you're picking a card from a new set identical in all but sort order to the first set.

Ok stay with this, you almost have it.

First, we do not pick a card, it is assigned by seat order, the sb gets the first card. However online there is que of decks and a random deck comes tot he table, which is the same as picking any random deck.

Now if we were to place these decks that are already shuffled in an array

it would look like

{1,2,3................52}
{1,2,3................52}
{1,2,3................52}
{1,2,3................52}
{1,2,3................52}

The small blind does not have 1/52 , they have ?/5 in this example.
