I'm seeing these type of promos, "$500 to who ever wins a hand with 2 specific cards" in a lot of the casinos. Was wondering how often i will be dealt Qh Qc as an example? I know i still have 2 win with it after i get it.

Think of how many combinations of hands there are. There are 52 cards the first card could be, and 51 cards the 2nd card can be, so 52*51 total. But, this double-counts holdem hands because QhQc is the same as QcQh, if you see what I mean, so you divide by 2.
So, total number of holdem hands is 52*51/2 = 1326
